Testopel Experience?

Dr. Mel is a good, caring doc. Don’t know why he told me no HCG. I did ask about it. One tube of Testim a day for two months. No libido, random or morning wood and no real body change. Consider I train hard also so that’s a disappointment. I will see the Doc again get bloods done and see what he suggests.

He prescribes clomid too. He prescribed it for me once.

Are you sure he said he doesn’t prescribe HCG at all, or that he doesn’t use it in conjunction with testosterone replacement therapy? Have you told him about your lack of libido?

I told him about the lack of libido, gaining fat on midsection and chest area regardless of how hard I train. He said to me that he does not prescribe HCG. He recommended TestoPel at first but I opted for Testim. Injects he does every two weeks (200mg Cypionate) and I didn’t like that idea.

I did injects before twice a week (50mg Ethanthate and HCG 2500iu 2x week) and even then I was a basketcase. My mood swings were horrible from road rage to panic attacks. No AI at all. Doc wouldn’t prescribe it.

Testim I feel no difference even when my testosterone tested at 700 recently. I will see him again this week and discuss other options. Testicle shrinkage I really don’t mind, as long as my boy isn’t feeling like a dead doornail. Seriously, there are days its numb.

I’ve noticed if I stop Testim for one day on and one off with a little DIM & Cialis I have feeling there. Again, maybe I need more Testim… but I will not self medicate. Doctor only, plus I have a job where we do get urinalysis drug testing and I don’t need that. I would take Clomid if he will give it to me, maybe it will help the boys out.

The 5 or 6 pellets you speak of is not enough for some people. I have been on both types of gels and then to Testopel. They have pros and cons but my body ate 6 like candy and it only brought me to mid to hi 400’S. Two years ago my test was in the 700’S then dropped down to 164 starting in Nov to Jan. No one has been able to explain to me why. I have been various types of test.

Now I do the injections and for me this is the best so far. With the gels the Estrogen levels started to climb. On the Testopel it reached 190 after two implants. My doctor did not seemed worried. That is why he is not my doctor now. Anti E pills and injections for me now. Estrogen levels now 47 after first month. We are still waiting for the Testosterone results.

My Testim price just went up. Even with the discount card my insurance is deciding to bump me so now I have no option but to stop. Testim is $400.00 a box wo insurance, with ins. and card I was paying $10 now it’s $30. After 9 more refills I’m Paying $75 or more depending on what my carrier decides.

I’ll see Dr. Mel and try for a clomid script then go natural again.

Dude, I’ve paid 25 to 75 bucks for medicine per month for eight years. That’s VERY cheap for medicine, for which without, your life will be pretty lousy.

What do you mean “go natural”? If you’re hypogonadal, you are so for life! This isn’t some type of experiment in which you endlessly try out different shit or try to control a COMPETENT doctor. I’m NOT saying you’re trying to do the latter, but you should work with him on a treatment that works for you and stick with it.

Dr. Mellinger is one of the BEST in all of NYC and LI. He is only one of a handful of andrologists around here.

You said you were hypogonadal for YEARS. How long have you been taking testosterone. I didn’t feel like myself until over a year after starting. If you were hypogonadal for YEARS, you’re NOT going to feel like yourself until some considerable time goes by.

700 is a very good value - high normal! Stick with what he says if you want to feel good.

Switch to 20% compounded T cream, very affordable from lifeextensionrx.com, apply to inner arms, not torso.

Agree. Will talk to Dr. Mel next week.

I had the same complaints as you did in my first months of using medicine. I kept pestering the guy (he DID get annoyed with me) and asking, “How come I don’t feel anything? What’s going on here?”

You didn’t answer my questions? How long hypogonadal? How long medicated so far? You should feel very good at 700 to 1000 ng/dl after some time.

He actually said, “It may take some time to get things up and running like they did before.” He gave me some viagra and said, “You might need some help with erections for the time being.”

See dude, it takes some time.

Definitely listen to Brick…it takes a lot of time. I think a ton of guys quit before they are even on the right path…It’s not instant. In fact, it’ll probably come on so slow you won’t realize it.

Your tissues will eventually get used to living in a high androgenic environment as opposed to operating in a low androgenic environment. Anytime you add unnatural things, your body is thrown into chaos and it will eventually adapt no matter what, whether it be low T or high T. Some take longer than others and it depends on when you added in the T as well.

I’ve never been diagnosed hypogonadal ever. My first TRT was thru Renewman and that was a financial disaster. Not only was the price bad, but the program was not monitored and you were on your own with a bag of mail order meds.

My test has been low 300’s to 533 last 8 years. 533 after using Testopro and Sustain Alpha (maca, small amounts DHEA) 5on 2off for monthsI’ve been a boxer 20plus years so I def attribute head trauma to my symptoms. Not including my three nose surgeries and and elbow surgery. My free test is always below normal and estradiol 25-27 Quest.

Dr. Mel gave me ED meds, been using them since I’m 30.

I don’t mind things taking time. I feel exactly the same as when I started. A little fat loss is prob the best so far.

But I do mind significant, and I mean it, penis and Testicle shrinkage. Not counting out the numbness, it makes things tough. I have the balls of a nine year old now. Before they would have passed for 12, maybe 13… Ha they were never huge but they were there.

And the main man is becoming a skinny numb semi turtle. I wish this was in my head, but it’s in the little and now very numb, smaller head.

As I stated above:
Get a script for compounded 5% testosterone cream. Clip hair on your scrotum. Apply 1/2ml cream to scrotum and penis and that will increase DHT and wake up the nerves in the penis. This is recommended in some TRT books written by doctors. Many docs will freak about transfer to your a wife/GF, technically a concern, but of little consequence. The exposure is brief and most comes out with the cum.
+
Switch to 20% compounded T cream, very affordable from lifeextensionrx.com, apply to inner arms, not torso.

The above is in addition to whatever mainline TRT you find that works.

This will improve the sensitivity of your penis. You need hCG to maintain your testes.

I will discuss that with Dr. Mel KSMan. HCG really made me sick last time. The first day it knocked me on my arse, couldn’t get out of bed. After were the worst panic attacks life can deal. I’ve never had anxiety in my life. That was really bad. Don’t know what caused that but it happened.

What are your FSH and LH values. If you’re sure you have a pituitary injury from boxing, then they should be low. Did he check this? I think he definitely would.

Did he check the atrophy too. Like I said, I have some, but not bad.

I had the same exact feeling in my genitalia for quite some, and it scared the shit out of me. That’s why I was pestering Dr. M. Now my libido is on fire, and orgasms are out of this world.

The way you wrote this made it sound like SA was maca and small amounts of DHEA.

Actually SA=
Benzoflavone 7,8
Trans-Resveratrol

In essence, this is basically a very very mild SERM. The resveratrol gets all the press, but the Benzoflavone is the mover and shaker.
I used it too (the Liqui-vade) and it got my T-levels to 719 (!). The effect does wear off though…but boy do I remember the first few days I used the transdermal…so does my ex-gf.

Shriveled penis=blood flow issue. Some guys note their dick gets smaller when they work out, hence blood flow problems.

Some things that can cause the shrivled Penis issue
-T/E ratio problems
-DHT problems
-Thyroid problems
-Obesity
-High Cortisol

Guess I’m not the only one. HCG really sucked for me.

I meant SA with all above Maca, Dhea etc. It got me to 533 from 300. Not bad. I used the Liquid form. The shrinkage only started one month after Testim. I’m far from
obese. My diet is very good and I’m always active.
