IDK I don’t sit around and analyze your face but the first time I saw it I thought it was the Situation’s little brother pimpin’ out some Androgel on the TMuscle boards while gettin’ his daily dose of some BRO science.
I asked him about shots today. He doesn’t like them and used them a long time ago. He said they cause too much fluctuation and his patients have had the most success with Androgel, Testopel, and Testim. He said he’ll prescribe HCG or clomid again when I want to have a kid; I don’t plan on that for quite some time.
My last test last week showed my T value is 779 ng/dl, and I feel GREAT. LH and FSH are slightly suppressed, but this will be taken care of when the time is needed, as I explained above. There’s some testicular atrophy - 15 grams instead of 20.
He gave me an Androgel card to save dough. So Androgel will cost me 5 bucks a month now.

Solvay must really enjoy you as a sales rep. JK.
Despite the antipathy, I must say I’m glad your protocol is working.
He did offer me Testopel today. I declined because I really don’t feel like bothering with something else when I’m feeling fine with what I do. I don’t want to bother with him titrating the amount for what can be 3+ months to get it right.

lol - this is a circular logic since we know biweekly and weekly shots are bad and cause fluctuations. what he should say is that a bad schedule of biweekly shots cases fluctuations.
you should ask if he is talking about biweekly or weekly shots which would seem to be the case since E3D or EOD shots don’t cause fluctuations.
Pure-I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The medical practice is so antiquated. I was reading a study last night where hypogonadal males were given 200mg every 3 weeks and despite all these charts that showed blood fluctuation and an obvious week spent in the hypogonadal range, they still couldn’t conclude that perhaps a shorter injection interval would be more effective.
It’s even more funny that studies for male contraception are shown to give supraphysiological doses of testosterone to NORMAL men on a weekly basis while studies for hypogonads recommend keeping at the lower range of normal. Why all the hate for hypogonads???

I asked him and he doesn’t do that either. His patients have success with the things he uses and MOST don’t want to be bothered with shots.

My doc certainly doesn’t refrain from treating hypogonadal males considering his specialty is andrology and fertility and he takes it quite seriously and likes to see most of his patients in the upper-normal range (600 to 1,000 ng/dl). He takes care of blood values AND symptoms.
I am a patient of Dr. Mellinger. I haven’t posted in awhile. Was on TRT then off. After being in the low 300’s a few years Dr. Mel put me on Testim one tube a day. After three weeks Test levels went to 700 and Estradiol under 20.
Problem is my balls are smaller, I’m not to worried about that but my penis is also changing. It feels almost numb. It is also noticeably smaller and tighter to my body when flaccid. My libido hasn’t changed, zero morning wood. Some BF loss (12.5%) which is good. I’m 38 in phenomenal shape 165lbs.
I do need Levitra for sex but lately it’s not working. I’m not anxious, tired etc. Could my Estradiol be too low? I use DIM, IC3, Resveratrol, 50mg Zinc daily, and PP Sustain Alpha. I use all seperate different weekdays. I don’t use all at once everyday.
I asked Dr. Mel and he said he does not prescribe HCG.
What does “Estradiol under 20” mean? The lab report stated “<20”. Was this by LabCorp? Could be a lab failure.
What was the lab range and units?
You might have low thyroid levels. Hypothyroidism and hypogonadism share many of the same spectrum of symptoms.
Do you ever feel cold when it does not make sense?
Check body temp when you first wake up, before getting out of bed. Temps near or below 97F are a concern.
Do you use iodized salt or take vitamins that contain iodine?
Check TSH, fT4, fT3
How do you react to major stress?
Any DHEA-S lab results?
Get a script for compounded 5% testosterone cream. Clip hair on your scrotum. Apply 1/2ml cream to scrotum and penis and that will increase DHT and wake up the nerves in the penis. This is recommended in some TRT books written by doctors. Many docs will freak about transfer to your a wife/GF, technically a concern, but of little consequence. The exposure is brief and most comes out with the cum.
What drugs are you taking, Rx and OTC? Do you take vitamin D3 and fish oil? Other vitamins etc?
Please stop taking PP Sustain Alpha for a few weeks, no other changes, and see that that does. First there is no need to uses a product that shifts HPTA function when the HPTA is shutdown. Use other agents to control E2 levels as needed. You may be having side effects from PP Sustain Alpha.
Apply testim to inner arms as absorption is higher there. Yes, that area will not take all of the product and some needs to be applied elsewhere.
I take all my vitamins. My estradiol always tested 25-29 for years. My recent estradiol tested at 8 pg/mL range <29 from Quest. That’s was with occasional DIM (half tab EOD) and Resveratrol with Sustain Alpha 3 days week. I stopped the Sustain recently.
And yes I have a very stressful job and my sleep is horrible. 3hours a night workdays and off days I sleep a full 8. No OTC meds. My last blood test TSH w/FREE T4 RFX TSH,3rd GEN 1.49. Ref Range 0.40-4.50mIU/L.
I did not apply Testim yesterday as day was insane busy took half a DIM and woke up with wood after a full 9hours sleep.

I’ve had nothing but success with Dr. Mellinger. He does prescribe HCG, especially for those wanting kids.
My levels are in the 700 to 1000 range. Sex drive is through the roof. Dick is fuller from TRT. SOME testicular shrinkage - 15 grams instead of the average 20.
