Hi all,
I don’t know if you need my stats ECT for this but to try to sum it up at my age of 39 been training for years and did my last comp at a lightweight level in 2013 I’ve not used anything for a few years. To keep my health as good as possible I was thinking test enthanate at 300mg x2 weekly for ten weeks
I would say I’m at or past my natural level as I’m only 5,5. Ideally I would like to create anything from 5-10lb of muscle.
After this cycle and the usual off periods would it be possible to just keep doing a test only cycle?
I hear some or all saying test only is a good first cycle ECT but if my test levels still go up significantly surely with correct diet and training I would still gain or at least maintain by keep doing a test only cycle for ten weeks then say 10-20wks off then repeat???
Are you talking about a permanent cruise? This would shut your natural production off. Basically putting you on TRT for life.
What’s your existing blood work look like? Probably a good idea to have a baseline at your age.
Hi studhammer
Thanks for your response. Not cruise no. Say I put on 10lb and after the cycle loose 5lb after pct and a break would the next cycle of test only at 600mg be effective or does the body keep needing more to get the same or previous gains??
With my blood work I’ve not had it done for a while. I’ve suffered symptoms with low test for a year or so now but unfortunately the clinic in the UK I used to use no longer offer this service. I went to the doctor but she was utter useless. I had to call for my results and she said there fine so I said but I need to know the amount and she said she didn’t have the figures in front of her but they was fine.
I’ve always had a higher normal range but over the last year I’ve had
Depression
Anxiety
Low libedo
Found it harder to loose body fat
Little sleep
I think I can pay for s cholesterol test at my local clinic and possibly there’s an online method for testosterone levels testing by post I believe so I might have to look into this.
Man, you guys in the UK are fucked when it comes to medical.
I think with a proper break, it would be effective. I think the main reason guys bump it up each cycle, is because they just want to see what would happen with more. Because “more is better” right? At least that’s my motto.
I love test only cycles. 750/wk is where I notice a major difference. 500 does very little for me. I cruise at 250/wk which is a slightly elevated TRT dose (diagnosed with low test at 37 yrs old, now 42).
However, at your age of 39, there’s no sense IMO of cycling when you could just stay on a low dose most of the time and then blast when you want to. Why deal with all the PCT stuff and possible problems from it if you’re at an age where you’ll already benefit from supplementation for good?
I don’t like to be married to the stuff either, but I don’t have a choice. Never would have used the stuff if I didn’t have to; but since I have to, I might as well take advantage!!! LOL…
You make a good point.
It’s not something I’ve ever looked into I guess I was always worried about the consequences and the effects on cholesterol ect but I think now I will definitely look into it more in detail.
