Tennis Player NEEDS help PLEASE

hey everyone,
I really need some help as I will be travelling to Florida soon where I will begin intense tennis training (2x/day). My coach (sadly) doesn’t realize the value of strength training to his athletes, and subscribes to the philosophy that “lifting heavy will make you slower”. Could anyone please give me any tips on convincing him otherwise, or point me in the right direction as to articles which I may show him???

Show him any article on this site that speaks of heavy lifting improving CNS and response. That may help him see the light.

I played Tennis in college and lifting greatly improved my serve. It also made my legs a lot more powerful. I could get from the back of the court to the net in a couple of steps.
