Tell me how you REALLY feel, TC

Did anyone else notice that TC appeared to be a bit…ummm…ANGRY this week?

Someone needs to get angry. That shit pisses me off too. Good job, TC!

Don’t get me wrong! I agree completely. I just mean that he seems really PISSED. It would be nice if this letter could be put in front of someone that could make a difference.

Take that anger, multiply it by 1,000 times, and then you’ll know what a LIBERTARIAN feels every single day of his or her goddamn life.

Good Atomic Dog, though.

Good job TC!!

I get people at my office worried about what Im taking - must be all those Biotest bottles  Of course they see the negative bs on the news and oh it must be true!

Thanks, guys! I don’t know if I was angry when I wrote the thing. Passionate, maybe, but not really angry.

Top piece,TC.It never ceases to amaze me how many dickheads will smoke,do drugs, pound their livers into oblivion with alcohol, let their bodies decay into floppy bags of shit through lack of activity, then turn around and consider folks like us to be freaks because we eat well, train hard and, heaven forbid, take all those pills and powders' in our continual quest for self-improvement.<P> And Mike,I know what you are saying-even in relatively free countries like the US and Australia, governments have way too much power to interfere with our lives, and they are more than happy to abuse that power on a regular basis. And most people are too damn stupid to see it.Here in Australia, people are always complaining about our high rates of tax on one hand(necessary to fund all the unnecessary activities of our government),and yet whenever there is any sort of problem, these same jokers are calling for the governmment to do something’!I wish governments would limit their activities to preserving the rights of individual citizens to carry out their activities unimpeded ,as long as those activities do not intefere with the rights of other citizens to do the same.Government should not assume it knows best for us and act like our nanny. It should stay the hell out of our lives and leave us free to make our own choices and be responsible for our own decisions and their consequences. In other words if I want to take prohormones or thermogenics, after doing my own research and making my own educated decision,I should be able to do so.The decision should not be made by some faceless, clueless bureaucrat who wouldn’t know a barbell from a barstool,as is currently the situation down under.Cheers.

Yeah, no shit he was pissed. But hey everybody on this site would be pissed and ready to put the boots to any couch dwelling bastard that knocks our sport and the methods we use to get an edge in that sport. So after issue 172 let it be known that TC is holding class for anyone looking to bring troiuble to the supplement industry.

Good rants, all true, only one question remains:

What will a T-Man do —> do ABOUT IT?

( I only pay taxes because they have guns)

A fellow extropian!

The best course of action is education. Unfortunately, education isn’t cheap – reaching a wide enough audience would cost tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars. We can hope the increasing burden of taxation, combined with alternative Internet currencies, will lead to widespread tax evasion. This would soon lead to the end of the government.

I’ve posted the following elsewhere, but I’ll
post it again in this thread in case you
missed it.

In addition to what Mike said about education, the way I see it, there are two general strategies to solve these problems. One is to work "within" "the system," such as voting, and communicating with your political reps. A good example of this would be to encourage your reps and bush to appoint Mary Ruwart to head the FDA, or better yet, abolish the FDA all together.

The second strategy is to go "outside" "the system." This involves rescinding your support for the government mafia as much as practical. EG, if you want to use steroids, do so - but be smart to not get caught. Find ways to carefully avoid paying "taxes" (theft money), because every dollar you pay to them can be used against you. Some people might refer to this strategy as "civil disobedience" but I don't exactly like that term (for various reasons). You have to weigh the risks and benefits carefully, and choose your "battles" accordingly. For example,it's prob to risky for Biotest to attempt to continue importing T2. But they could do other things, like making 4-AD-EC available for use with "aromatherapy" kits.

These two strategies are not mutually exclusive. Use your creativity and thinking skills and you can fill in the blanks.
