If They Can't Win

When an organization like the FDA or IRS can’t “win”, they destroy. They know that the money and power of the Government can outlast most people, especially with small buisnesses. So they take them to court, freeze their assets, raid their buisnesses, harrass suppliers of raw ingredients, or simply tell a company they can no longer sell something. In terms of a company like Biotest, my biggest concern is how the Government’s actions can ultimately crush innovation. How worried should we ALL be?

Those who think that we still live in a free county live in a fantasy world. It only serves their intrest to protect us when it serves their intrest. Who of you truly beleives that your government can’t do what ever they please to you when ever they want. Not even the Constitution will save you.

This is what happens when people want to rely on the governemnt for everything, when people are too lazy to think about freedom and self-government. Innovation is crushed, freedom is lost. Welcome to a brave new world, where your sugar daddy Uncle Sam takes care of everything for you, because you are too stupid to take care of yourself. Don’t worry, its the government you can trust them…yeah right!

It will stay this way and probably get worse until we stop voting for Deomcrats and Republocrats and vote for people who believe in the human spirit, SELF-government and liberty for all.

BINGO! The “government” bureaucrats are power
mad, and their behaviour is little different
from that of the “mafia.” IMO, the biggest
practical difference is that those people
who are referred to as “government” have to
create the illusion of doing what’s best for
“the people” when in reality they are only
serving their own interests. The “government”
has much better propaganda … er, I mean
“public relations” than the traditional mafia.
To answer your question, I would be
very concerned … and not just about
innovation in supplements; but in all areas
of life.

Here is a great potential explanation of why bureaucrats behave in this concur or destroy way: (a quote from somewhere else)
"To feel that we are worthwhile individuals, to know that we exist, we have to express our power - feel that we are in control. This imperative to express our power and experience control is central to human behavior. Every human does something to express his or her power in the world. This power can be expressed creatively or destructively."

"Humans first attempt to express their power creatively. If such attempts fail repeatedly, they experience themselves as powerless. They may feel helpless and hopeless, and become depressed. What they experience is that they cannot make a positive difference in their own lives or in the world. A cognitive breakdown occurs between their actions and the results they produce. Mentally and intellectually they cease to understand the connections between their behavior and the consequences of their behavior. Then they express their power destructively."

BTW - The way I see it, there are two general
strategies to solve these problems. One is to
work “within” “the system,” such as voting,
and communicating with your political reps. A
good example of this would be to encourage
your reps and bush to appoint Mary Ruwart to
head the FDA, or better yet, abolish the FDA
all together.

The second strategy is to go "outside" "the system." This involves rescinding your support for the government mafia as much as practical. EG, if you want to use steroids, do so - but be smart to not get caught. Find ways to carefully avoid paying "taxes" (theft money), because every dollar you pay to them can be used against you. Some people might refer to this strategy as "civil disobedience" but I don't exactly like that term (for various reasons). You have to weigh the risks and benefits carefully, and choose your "battles" accordingly. For example, it's prob to risky for Biotest to attempt to continue importing T2. But they could do other things, like making 4-AD-EC available for use with "aromatherapy" kits.

These strategies are not mutually exclusive. Use your creativity and thinking skills and you can fill in the blanks.
