Yeah I had it on my mind for a few weeks, been a few years since I did a full blown cut if I remember right. With the family and kids around its a bit harder to “monk down” and just eat beef patties and eggs all day like I used to haha, so this will be a good kick in the ass
Might break out some of the Dan John stuff @T3hPwnisher was kind enough to send me back then ( 10,000 kettlebell challenge towards the end perhaps)
Sometimes it’s a challenge just to give something new a shot! Probably one I need to give a go myself

My goals, bigger back all around hence I’m doing more back volume with my limited equipment, thicker spinal erectors and bigger arms.
Without getting any fatter.
I’m not too worried about my pecs, I have no inner pecs but no one sees inner pecs in the real world, only width.

Glad you’re in! Don’t post a video here just yet. I’ll sent out the info and the dates and all that in a couple weeks in a whole separate thread, and will ask for starting pictures and the like there. It’s too hard for me to keep track if I don’t put in those kinds of controls.
You taking celery and olives, or will you be competing naturally?
Wow time flies because apparently I did the T Ransformation in 2024, so it hasnt quite been years, but itll be 18 months since I did it as a concerted effort. I think every 2 years is kind of my cycle at this point in my life.
Training wise its also a bit Funny how when you look back at the log and think “huh, that program actually looks pretty good, why did I stop doing that?”
I’ll be back for another round. Still unsure what the goal will be but given I have 13kg of growing to do to fill out the U105KG weight class I am guessing it is going to involve lots of food !!
I’m using grapes actually, so I been juicing. I might add celery though to the stack.
Olives are new so yes. I buy the fresh olives eat a few and drink some of the oil.
Right after new years, i am doing a powerlifting “comp” in my garage for the guys i am training.
My goal is for them to beat me, but I am not going easy on them. So right now, i am in a strength block. This is perfect tjming, because after max day, i am going on a cut anyway. Going to try to get down to 205, then build up to 215 from there…slowly so it is right. Sitting at 230 right now. When is the deadline for the before pics?
Deadline is usually end of the first week of January. First day to post is Jan 1.

Mostly the same goal as this year, but even higher sights.
As Emily said, volume and performance is my mistress now.
The goal is to continue trying to look like a Cross-Fit, Muscle Mommy AND also run my first 50 mile Ultramarathon.
I adore “sub-optimal” conflicting goals.

Have never done these but followed along last year’s. I’m interested in seeing what I can do in a year! Have never actually gotten lean in my life…womp womp but this could serve as good motivation!

I don’t want to speak for @TrainForPain, but just FYI: In the past, it’s been 5-ish months, typically 01 January through US Memorial Day holiday (end of May).
Ahhh okay thanks I assumed it was for full year….5 months still sounds like fun…probably won’t be too drastic but will try to surprise myself! haha
