Eh… Stop making me feel guilty, haha. Who am I kidding? I do feel guilty, everytime I eat something remotely delicious, I feel bad. But then again, I know things gon suck tremendously once I start ‘cutting’ or rather, getting less fat.
Quads growing I think
Dang, that was a fast response. I was actually trying to compare it to my previous photos while you sent this.
It looks like you’re maintaining your weight despite some of those more delicious choices. I’m sure the first several weeks cutting out those will make a significant change.
I’m more envious because I know I don’t have the self control to eat one of anything, if I have the freedom to eat more, I will!
This gon sound silly but I don’t exactly get to choose my ‘more delicious choices’ for the most part. I’m actually under eating right now so that’s a bummer. They mostly come from going out to eat with parents/girlfriend/friends and not wanting to be the annoying guy who’s like “oh I can’t eat here, I’m watching my diet.” That being said though, I did choose the kit kat and I was god damn shocked that it was 200+ calories, holy shit.
I really luck out, in that regard. I live in a hipster area. When I make reservations that ask if I had dietary restrictions.
That and I’m guessing you live in an area where meat is readily available and affordable. The everyday man’s diet in Singapore is… High carbs low protein high fat. So that just sucks ass, it’s literally almost impossible to avoid rice/noodles/carb sources. That and it’s so hard to get good affordable steak over here.
Take a look at
The food just doesn’t look very… Muscle building-ish, if that makes sense.
I’ve gotten good at picking what I can eat in most menus and also being happy to make specific requests no matter how WTF they might make the server look.
Ah, Portland and it’s suburbs. Good shit!
I’m not gonna lie, If I lived in an asian country I would be a fat fuck. I love rice and noodles together. If I get thai food, I order a side of rice to go with Pad Thai; Chinese I get chow mein and add rice; Japanese, I get yakisoba and add rice. haha.

##Journal Entry
considering the last time I actually had a deadlift workout was on the 20/10/2016, I guess it’s ok. For some odd reason, my conventional just kinda sucks. Swapped over to the semi sumo(which is actually my preferred style of deadlifting) and I could pull like 20/30kgs more
@MarkKO, any thoughts on my deadlift form?
I was thinking maybe I should set my hips higher and widen my feet on my conventional. Maybe I got too used to cleans hence the inability to generate force from my usual narrow stance. Hips higher cause that’s where the bar starts to move when I pull my semi sumo thing.
Don’t change a damn thing. Both look fine. BTW, the other one is semi sumo. Not sure was this ‘quasi conventional’ malarchy is about.
Eh, just liked the sound of it more. Quasi is such a fun word to say.

I read that and thought, damn, Ben didn’t eat anything yesterday. Add 3 donuts and a rockstar for breakfast, skip the churro, but add a pint of ice cream, and that was my typical day of eating.

some time later
Yoke Walk
60kgs x400m
80kgs x400m
80kgs x50m, ran with it to get it out of the rain
bunch of drops on both trips, harder than expected, would’ve went to 100kgs but it started raining. it felt pretty shitty but eh, I felt like I was punishing myself for my inability to hit that 160kgs squat so it’s fine
Penguin Walks

surprisingly harder than you’d think, quite a few of my pals who deadlift more than me couldn’t do this fast or without losing their grip.
Eh, my diet has been pretty off as of the past 2 weeks or so, stressful times but oh well.
