I am absurdly, insanely jealous that other T-people get to gather and have fun while my closest T-people are about 800 km away from me. Damn this living in northern Ontario!!
BJ’s-Shmeejay’s!-If you want some real beer, come up here to Canada. We got Beer Glaciers and when they melt they flow into Beer Rivers which create Beer Lakes. I just walk into my kitchen, turn on the tap and voila!; running Beer.
Just a quick update for all those planning to attend: we’re in the process of confirming a place to train. Although we’re not charging anything, it looks like we may have to pay the gym 7 bucks or so each to train there. No biggie. Most who attend will get around $20 worth of free goodies from T-mag and Biotest anyway. I’ll post here or PM everyone once we get everything confirmed.
Chris - Are all the spaces filled yet? - If not, I want in!!!
Chris, you mentioned a “series” of articles so I’d like to get in a plug for the Pacific Northwest.
Not only can I guarantee you’ll fill the thing up, but you’ll also get the added bennies of all we have to offer here. After all, it’s wine country, got tons of microbreweries, two brand spankin’ new state of the art sports stadiums side by side for the Mariners and Seahawks, some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and hell, I’ll even pay for a trip for you guys up the Space Needle.
(Sorry, Patricia, Portland is awesome, but if you’re gonna make a trip to this part of the world, Seattle’s the place to go! Yeah, yeah, I’m a homer)
Rainjack - Initially we cut it off at ten people, but I hate to do that in case some of the first ten don’t show up. So come on and join us if you want!
Only problem might be that I’m only bringing enough T-shirts, magazines and Grow! bars for ten people. But I think just training with Waterbury will be worth it.
Thanks Chris - I don’t need the SWAG anyhow. Just getting to watch and learn from some of the best is more than enough to get me to Dallas
Shugs, you have come up with a great plan there (starting a new series)! It would be wickedly cool if these micro-events popped up from time to time in other cities. Is that the plan?
BodyIQ - It would be cool if we could do that and hopefully we can. This type of article takes a lot of time and can costs a lot of money (airfare, hotel stays etc) but we’d like to do more of them. Time is the biggest obstacle.
BTW, TC’s new “Tuesdays with Davies” article is sort of like what I’ll be doing with the Waterbury event. Should be cool!
Bump just to keep hope alive!
On a side note - Chris, we gots to talk. I’m thinking about leaving the financial world to be a teacher. Gawd help me!
Waterbury has made his flight reservations and I’ve booked the suites, so all is well. Agathos is helping arrange a gym. He’s working with two as far as I know. We’ll see which one works out the best for us.
Aikigreg - Sure, be glad to help out with any questions you may have about teaching. E-mail or PM me or start a thread about it in Off Topic. There are quite a few teachers on this board. I hear the pay is very good in the DFW area if you’re willing to work “in da hood”.

Cool.
Instead of being one of those strength coaches who determines what he wants to say during the seminar, I am going to take the completely opposite approach.
I ask all participants to devise a question for me that I will address during the seminar. That way, everyone will have a chance to give some input about the direction of the information you want me to give.
So put on your thinking cowboy hats!
For those who’ve been e-mailing and PMing me, yes, wear comfortable clothes as much of this will be hands-on. Might also want to bring a notepad.
