I haven’t posted much on this forum, but have been reading and learning all the same from the numerous posts. On to my point, I feel as if a lot of the posters have become a T-family in a sense. Especially in this time of trajedy, we are all willing to help eachother out. At this time, I haven’t seen a post from a fellow T-Brother, Mufasa. Does anyone know if he lives/works anywhere near NY or DC? Any other T-fams that haven’t posted? My continued prayers go out to all those affected in one way or another.
vin: Thank you, Brother or Sister (the nics are tough to figure out sometimes!) I look at this site as a family too…both in the good ways and the bad…the guys on this site uplift me and make me laugh almost every day…they share their knowledge, lives and experience without hesitation…and they can frustrate me to no end sometimes (The “T-Mag” staff included!)… But hey… that’s family…I’m not in the New York or DC area…but I have to be honest with you…your post healed a part of the Lion’s heart that was broken by the acts of yesterday in New York. Just like a family, many comments have renewed my Love of this Country and it’s people…while some post have made my realize that just below the surface of many people is predudice and hated; the VERY thing that lead to the tradgedies of the past day… I’m still sorting through it all, and will respond at a later date. So…I’m doing fine…I Love this Forum and am glad to know that I’m considered a valued member of this special family…I Love America and ALL men and women of good will worldwide…and I look forward to the days ahead with a keen sense of renewal and resolve…
When vin’s post first originated I was genuinely concerned for your safety, Mufusa, especially since you hadn’t been seen to be posting your usual quantity of msgs. Great to see you weren’t caught up in it all =)
This T-Brother is glad to know that the Lion is okay. Any other T-brethren out there still unaccounted for.
Mufasa, I was worried about you to. I wasn’t sure where you lived, but I also found your absence unsettling. Thank God you’re alright.
Thanks, guys…this site, and its contributors, have cetainly given me much more than than I think I’ve given in return…but you know what? We really ARE a community, with all the joys and frustrations that come with that…so again…thanks…
Funny I should come across this post, 'cause I was just thinking about you, Mufasa, even though I know you don’t live over here. I’ve never felt so damn proud to be a New Yorker; just as many of you on this forum feel as though you are a family, during this past week, EVERYONE I’ve seen in New York has been ultra kind, loving, considerate, and helpful to one another. Maybe this is the one gift, like the phoenix that has risen from the ashes, that we get to cherish. Godspeed to all of us…and high muscle density and lower bodyfat levels for everyone!!! xoxoxo
