SC, yes it was and you should see it in person. The most graceful display of violence you have ever seen!
^lol, HipScar’s characterizations of Synergy lifting weights creep me the hell out.
Synergy, watching from afar in admiration for a while, want to both thankyou for the amazingly detailed info you always drop in, as well as wish you the best success in your prep, id say luck, but its clearly hard work and not luck in your case
ill definitely be following.
Suprised the wall is still there.
There have been times i thought if lost grip on the bar while doing a power clean or power snatch the bar would go thought the ceiling (which is about 30ft high)
So when is synergy gonna man up and try out powerlifting?
Just kidding obviously… but I would love to see someone with his explosiveness try out some PLing.

Lol, wondering whether this thread is going to turn back to synergy giving insight into his training and methodologies, or whether it’s going to devolve into a hero-worship thread.
Just was able to watch those videos, i dont get impressed by much anymore but honestly what the hell man ive never seen a snatch that fast period let alone that heavy, and those med ball throws were just… im amazed
but above all that the 385 push press on the youtube channel takes the cake, so fast too
I’m amazed at how explosive he is, that’s nuts.
Synergy power cleaned 500 pounds while playing college football…dude is a beast

Here is a pic of Synergy’s redic clean as a college baller

Really awesome photo. The facial expression plus the guys celebrating.
Hey synergy it’s been a while since the beginning of this thread. I was just wondering if there was anything in in your training philosophy that has changed. Maybe not your philosophy in itself, but the way that you apply it in the gym and stuff. Thanks.

This should be made into a poster and put up in every gym . . . . everywhere.

everybody needs to look at this pic, and think about it a minute.
a 500lb clean, is world class, for a competitive OLer with perfect form and technique, who has been coached for years specifically for the OL’s.
i take it synergy is neither.
the fact that he power cleaned that much weight up with crappy form(I am guessing from his position at the catch) is even more impressive.
the point is, that as far as power and explosiveness goes, this guy is total fucking freak, keep that in mind when watching his routines and hoping to emulate them.
that 500lb PC is evidence enough for me that he is a special athlete.

I’d put it in my gym!
I keep telling him he needs to blow that thing up and make a poster out of it.
