Ok – I know I was gone a couple of days – But where have you been? You start a new routine and all posting stops? Are you keeping to your diet and goals? Enquiring minds want to Know…

Yea, I know. I haven’t posted much at all anywhere on this site, which is highly unusual for me.

I’ve been getting out of work late, then making sure I get to the gym 5 days a week.

If I wasn’t paying CT for a routine, I’d probably have skipped a few workouts by now with the way my schedule has been, but I’m really glad I haven’t.

I’m still in the first month, and I think this month’s routine is more for getting feedback. That’s just what I’m assuming, CT hasn’t actually said that.

The volume has definitely increased, and I was shocked at how much volume I’ve been able to handle; if I was on my own routine I probably would have quit early at the gym.

I like the new diet too, but again, since we’re in the first month, it could change depending on how my body handles it. I don’t know how much CT wants me telling online, so I’ll just say that it has been a bit different than anything I’ve done before, and I think it’s geared toward the relatively high volume of work I’m doing in the gym, and surprisingly, I’m not putting on any fat (that I can tell).

I’m just going with what ever he tells me, and I’m not going to really question anything he tells me to do, I’ll just do it.

So far, I can say the deadlifts have been going great! I feel like I haven’t been doing them enough in the past, but now, I’ll just say that I’m doing them quite a bit more, and I’m loving them.[/quote]

Great to hear from ya! Sounds like the new plan is going well. CT did my program once as well – it was great. I really enjoyed the programs.

Keep with it.

Hey SWR – how is it going? Sticking with the nutrition plan during the holidays? Checking up on ya…

Yea, I’m going to my Aunt’s house on Christmas day to be with the family, but I’ll be eating “clean” all day except for supper.

It won’t be too difficult for me until they all sit down to eat (in the early afternoon), but I’ll find a way to keep myself busy when they’re all eating.

I’ve been having the hardest time with the BCAA powder (using powder because it’s cheaper). I actually almost decided to go back to the caps, but found a way to take them where it’s not so bad. I use my Creatine scoop to get a teaspoon of the BCAAs under my tongue, and swish some water or Crystal Light in my mouth and drink it.

It’s much better than trying to mix the BCAAs in a liquid. I have to keep adding more just to get it off of the side of the glass.

Plus, trying to find time to take my supplements when I sometimes have to work in Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical company’s clean rooms, dressed in a gown, booties, and a hair net and can’t really bring any kind of food with me. The guys I work with think I take a lot of breaks, but I end up taking less than them because my lunch is only 10 minutes.

The routine’s going well, but the volume is higher than I’m used to. Of course I need to give CT time to gather my info and adapt the routine for me, so I’m not expecting a whole lot in the first couple of months (although my arms are up about 1/2").

I’m really looking forward to the next couple of months. My routines should get more and more geared toward my personal needs the longer I stick with it, so I want to make sure I give CT good feedback.

I say bogus to all these ridiculous fat cutting diets. If you eat like I do and change your workouts, I guarantee you will lose b/f the right way and KEEP it off. I dont propose anything radical. I eat great and often. Its impossible to have high b/f if you eat correctly (not dieting but healthily) and workout a certain way…

Problem is most people want to lift heavy weigths, rest alot and eat tons of bad food and then crash into a low b/f cutting diet. That is not healthy or reality. It should be away of life… I am always at 5% or under and I eat well and a lot…ButPROPERLY!!!
