Swole for the summer

In couple of weeks I will be ending the Great Guns program written by Ian King. I am very happy with my results. My arms did not get as big as they did stong but never the less I am still happy with my results. But with summer creeping up I would not mind getting ready so I can look as purdy as I can when it gets here. I will be finishing my Guns program up in about two weeks then I will probably take a week off. Which leaves me about 10-12 weeks to get ready for the summer. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on a great program(s) I could do any order to get my self looking good for the summer. Also when I started the Guns program I began using the Massive Eating diet. So I have really been enjoying the increase in size and poundage. I would like to use a program where I could still put some muscle on but my main focus is decreasing my body fat(same ole catch 22 right?). Any advice on a program and maybe a solid diet to accompany it would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.

Where are you at right now? We need height, weight and body composition to give you better feedback. Post that information and we can help you better. It all depends on if you need to dump 5lbs or 20lbs of fat.

I would like to lose probably 5-10 pounds. I weight 200 lbs. at about 10% body fat. I would like to keep my weight about the same but get to 7% body fat. Thanks.

the hot thing for fat loss recently seems to be t-dawg with meltdown

I agree that T-Dawg with Meltdown for about 4 weeks should be sufficient to help you drop the fat and maintain the muscle. For the other 8 weeks, I would suggest you follow something like the Growth Surge Project (GSP). After T-Dawg and Meltdown for 4 weeks, you are likely to need some recuperation and a good diet to come off a slightly ketogenic state. Phase 1 of the GSP is perfect for this. Then you spend 2 weeks bulking (hopefully with minimal fat gain and I seem to remember that most who followed the plan correctly did not experience but a couple of lbs of fat gain)and 2 weeks maintaining what you just added. That leaves 2 weeks to drop the extra fat pounds. Good luck and check out the post by Mufasa titled “Maintaining Body Fat Percentages”. There is some good info about doing short cycle of bulking and cutting once you have reached the body composition that you desire.
