SWIS 2002 in Toronto

Just wanted to pass this along. The SWIS symposium is coming up in September and you get in cheap if you sign up early enough. I plan to interview Dr. Kinakin again this year and will probably attend the symposium. (See articles here for T-mag reports on last year’s show: Strength Training, Bodybuilding & Online Supplement Store - T NATION and Strength Training, Bodybuilding & Online Supplement Store - T NATION )

This year’s presenters include John Berardi, Dave Tate, Dr. Lonnie Lowery, Mauro DiPasquale, Brian Batcheldor, Ian King, Mel Siff, Bill Pearl, Ed Coan, Lee Haney, Dr. Mike Leahy (the ART guy), Dr. Barry Sears (the Zone guy), Dr. Udo Erasmus (the oil guy), and over 40 more.

T-mag will provide more info in the coming weeks, but for now you can checkout www.swis2002.com. This is a great three day symposium and I highly recommend attending.

I’m going!

Bummer. I can’t go. The airfare ain’t gonna be cheap for me. I would love to go. I’m very sad right now. ;-(

Wow! I just looked at the schedule of presentations. There will be some awesome stuff presented over that weekend. I’m hoping to go and if I do, I hope to see many familiar names (since I can’t see faces) from the forum here.

Where is it being held at? Sounds too freakin’ good to be true.

I’m going and have already registered. Looking forward to some great presentations. It’s in Toronto at the Sheraton Hotel. Looking forward to seeing what this Scott Abel is all about too.

I’ll be there this year.

Yeah, I’ll be there too. It will give me a reason to visit my sister

bumping this up to make sure others get a chance to see it

Looks like I’m going for sure. Hope to see some of you there. Watch for the interview with Dr. Kinakin this Friday at T-mag.

Sounds great Chris but is there going to be a tape(s) or binder we can get(buy) if we can’t attend due to schedules and/or flight costs?

Last year many of the presentations were filmed and tapes were sold. I think they did an audio CD one year as well. That’s probably planned for this year too. E-mail SWIS at the site I listed above for more info.
