Hi Ct. I have been doing sumo deadlifts for 2 weeks now and they are feeling great. I have a hamstring issue so I cannot deadlift conventional at the moment. I am only doing 3x3 at about 200lbs right now. I want to slowly build up weight in order to not aggravate my hamstring issue. My question is seeing as how sumo stance is the only type of deadlift that works for me right now can I continue to stick with it for multiple weeks? I would like to rotate excercises so my body doesn’t adapt. As I have read that you shouldn’t do the same exercise for a long period of time or adaptation will occur. I plan to use a double progression method starting next week. Thanks for any help
Dude, Bulgarian lifters do only snatch, clean & jerks and squats for their whole career… Dorian Yates used the same exercises for his whole bodybuilding career. Russian powerlifters stick to the competitive lifts year round and maybe one or two assistance lifts. You don’t need to constantly change exercises to make progress, some people do better if they don’t change.

Perfect thanks so much. Would it be more important to focus on changing sets, reps, tempo and hand and foot placement for certain compound lifts
