I know John Berardi has said that the only thing you should ever mix with Surge is plain powdered creatine. But I’ve never heard anything as far as mixing Surge with powdered Ribose. I’m going to be taking powdered Ribose on my next mass cycle if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks.
Why can’t you mix surge with Ribose-C???

I’ll try to answer this as I remember some sort of similar post or article, but then I may be talking out my ass, so corrections are invited. I believe the reason ribose or ribose-c aren’t recommended is because Surge was formulated to ellicit a specific response and any tinkering with the macro (and I think micro) nutrients will alter this response, making it less than desirable.
Hmmmmm that almost makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Keago.
I don’t see any reason why not. Ribose is cell sugar and should elicit an insulin responce without lowering the GI or GI(II).If anything, I think it would help.
That may be true. From what I understand, all that has been formulated. But, Ribose-c doesn’t have a lot of carbs, so it may not make a difference. Not sure.
nutrional physiology is not an exact science. There are a lot of factor that decide on how your body responds to different stimuli. So I saying that Surge is not perfect, becasue nutrtion is an imperfect science. However, it’s probably really damn close, so if you tinker with it a little, it shouldn’t matter, especially a mono-saccaride such as ribose.
