As a college student myself I couldn’t agree more. My roommates think I’m crazy for spending “all that money” on my monthly shipment of Metabolic Drive and Surge. What they fail to realize is that their weekly alcohol and late night snake food budget is far and away more expensive then my supplement budget.

Exactly. My brother makes fun of how much I spend on supplements, but I save more than enough to buy them by not eating out 5 nights a week like he does. Some people will still never get it, no matter how much it’s explained to them though.

Good luck to everyone who tries this! I have a feeling the results will be good as long as everyone is following all the guidelines.
No shit! All kinds of people talk shit about supplements being expensive while they spend all their cash buying drinks for bitches in a weak ass attempt to get pussy. They then come home broke with out any chicks- now that’s expensive.

Lab Rats: Your Surge has been shipped!

Should be interesting. Any females in there? Most I talk to about peri workout drinks are too carb phobic to try it. From dietary fat phobic to carb phobic…

I’m in the experiment…(and I’m a girl ; )) BTW–I love carbs! and have found that I do better on a moderate carb intake while dieting rather than low (re: veggies only) The only difference I’ll have with the experiments is I won’t be taking in a"full serving" like the guys… seeing how I’m smaller and lighter…and cutting right now.

As I have already run this experiment, using myself as test subject, I know what will happen. I’ll give you a hint. More energy throughout the whole routine. Steady gains. Oh, crap. Those were the conclusions. Sorry.

I’ve been using the double dose method with Surge for quite some time, actually. My recovery has always been pretty damn amazing, and it really played a major factor in helping me progress to where I am now (which is nowhere near where I want to be later!).

Overall, I give it a big 2,354 thumbs up and (S)urge everyone to try it.

Yup. Every since Dave Barr suggested that you have two post workout windows, I’ve done either of the following: a) shake before and then one after; b) no shake before, but one after, and then one an hour later. Both dramatically (and equally relative to each other) improve recovery.

Now, if only my CNS would recover as quickly as my muscles…

LOL. I know. People in the thread acted like they’d never be able to take Surge if they didn’t win. Never in my life have I seen so many people begging for sixty bucks.
Pretty good example of what would happen if you hit the lotto. Even “lurkers” on T-Nation would crawl out out the woodwork with their fuckin hands open.

I hear you! I have a few female friends who lift and I can’t get any of them to give it a go. They’ve tasted Surge and liked it, so maybe with my persistence and the results here I can convince them to wise up and use it regularly.

Here’s the official project thread:
