My goal is to built muscle and reach weight around or over 200lbs
The Supplements I take are:
Gold Standard Whey 24g of protein and 5.5g of BCAAs - I take 2 scoops everyday to complete my daily protein intake. I train 4 times a week for 30-45 minutes.
I was told I should take Super Amino 3000 so I did go and Buy Body Fortress Super Amino 3000. Is this different from BCAAs? Super amino acids has whole bunch of stuff in it and BCAAs has only 3 things in it. Or am I wrong and those are both the same?
I was told to take 2 tablets after workout so that is what I’m doing. Is this right or should it be taken before and after training?
You should eat more. The supps you’re taking now certainly won’t hurt your progress, but to hit 200lbs, you don’t really need supps, just a good amount of healthy food. In fact, no amount of supplementation in the world will get you to the 200 lbs mark unless you’re already eating properly. Take a look at the T-Dawg diet or Berardi’s Massive Eating articles. If you’ve got your bases covered, then add in supps. The amino 3000 stuff is just BCAAs plus a bunch of other amino acids. BCAA’s after training can help with recovery, so if you plan to keep using them, yeah, down them after your workouts if you’re only using 2 a day. However, if you’re tight on cash, I’d recommend getting fish oil instead of BCAAs.
My nutrition is good but like most I don’t get enough so that is why I use protein shakes and amino acids.
I do eat heathy though. I do not eat any processed foods. All of the meat I eat is CO.
Turkey
Fish
Chicken
Beans
Eggs
Bison
Ostrich meat
Brown rice
Fruits and vegetables
in a day I take 48g of whey protein and the rest is from quality foods. total = 177G of protein. I eat 6 meals a day with averiging 20g or more of protein each meal. I guess i could get more protein from food and only have one scoop of 24g of whey.
In 2 weeks I’ve gained 7 lbs. so now i’m 177 lbs

Good, then you’re using them correctly. I would just add simple BCAA’s before and after each workout. I don’t think you’ll see much difference either way honestly, but it won’t hurt. I’d also try to get your protein intake up to around 200-250g per day if your trying to grow. Maybe have 30g of protein with each meal instead of 20g. You might also want to get some creatine if you have the cash.
Would people buy both or only one of thoses and which one is preffered?[/quote]
I’d avoid the first on you listed, if only because soy protein is really a waste of money if you can eat whey protein. Plan old BCAA’s are probably your best bet.
Three supplements I take:
fish oil liquid
Protein powder
Beef liver tablets(contain all the vitamins and minerals plus useable protein), considered my multivitamin
One shake a day is all I do(either as part of a meal or after a workout), 10-12 beef livers a day, and two teaspoons of fish oil to keep my heart and joints healthy.
The rest of my nutrition comes from food, and I love to eat. This is where your basis should come from, then add in whats lacking.
I would say fish oil would be the biggest supplement you would need, followed by a protein shake after your workout.

without looking at your links…
usually an amino acid supplement contains all of the Essential Amino Acids, or EAAs
a BCAA supplement contains only the three Branched Chain Amino Acids leucine, isoleusine, and valine. the reasoning behind taking BCAA supplements: the BCAAs become a limiting factor when exercising because your body needs more of them in relation to the other amino acids. also, they (esp. leucine) promote protein synthesis and can help stop catabolism.
in my opinion, a BCAA supplement is all that will be necessary.
