I’m not cutting for long, just 2-3 more weeks to drop just a little more fat and then I’ll switch.
What’s the issue with cutting for 2-3 more weeks and then trying to clean bulk vs doing it immediately when I can probably have less fat to worry about in the mid-long term?
I understand I will gain fat during bulk, the difference is that I already have a decent amount of fat.
My waist right now is 32.5 inches, I want to get this down to 31.5" which is roughly 3-4 lbs of fat so 2-3 weeks.
I’m still progressing in this deficit and not feeling too shabby.
My plan is to get down to 31.5" and then start lean bulking.
Even now I am doing some intensity cardio (not much but still a little).
I don’t know what you mean by “wasting time” here. At the end of the day, it shouldn’t matter that much if I try to drop 3-4 lbs now vs 6 months later, but I’m already on it for last 2 weeks.
It’s a yearly challenge on the forums where members upload “before” pictures taken towards the end of December and “after” pictures taken early June. These are voted on by members to choose a winner.
