Well the super 15s has just started - lots of fast rugby, entertaining to watch - I personally prefer the Crusaders from NZ…
In Europe, the Heineken Cup is in the knock-out stages, all the best teams from France and the UK…probably Leicester or Toulouse, Leicester for me.
As for Internationals…NZ are the best team full stop, although England are currently playing in the 6 nations - they play France next weekend, should be the game of the tournament. Check that out if you can!
It will be interesting to see how Cipriani does, I can’t seem him excelling to be honest. He is too weak in defence IMO Fair play for giving it a go though!
Can’t wait to watch the crusaders in action with SBW there now!
The blues vs saders was an awesome match, no SBW though.
I watched the first half and the saders were up by a considerable amount but I ended up falling asleep around 2 AM or so and missing the second half (I guess I had a senior moment! LOL)
So you saw the Toeva tackle down the right flank? what a tackle
He is a beast. I can’t believe I fucking fell asleep! That was the best game all weekend. In my defense, I ran 3 miles that morning, did squats and hill sprints in the afternoon, so I was fucking spent…
I can’t believe the Reds just pulled that one out of their ass.

I think England will have a tougher game against the Irish than agaisnt the French, we really should have beaten them, outscoring them 3 tries to 1 but in stupid pens let us down.
Possibly, I am not 100% that we will beat the French, it will be close! You’re right that you threw that game, D’Arcy’s missed tackle was so weak, gifted that game with errors.
Shame, could have seen an Ireland v England decider!
Any particular reason for following the saffers rehanb_bi? Some times I am in awe of the brutality of the 'boks physical game, I can’t watch their regional/ cup games as much though…much prefer the running rugby of NZ
Top 14 is excellent for fights haha check youtube for Toulon fight, their scrum half lays out 2-3 different players, great entertainment!

Haha technically, I am a saffer!
There is a lot of running rugby in the currie cup it’s just the national team that is adamant on playing the kick and chase game.
But the coach is nothing short of a circus clown

Are there any leagues for oafish, 32 year old men who have never touched a rugby ball before?
Where the competition is not strong, you will be able to play in the higher grades and where the competition is strong, there will be lower grades. I started playing in my early 30s. It would be a rare person who got good at it beginning at our age, but you can still have fun. I miss a lot of tackles, but I’m alright at cleaning out and securing the ball. I love the scrum and admit that, despite my good squat, I have a lot to learn about putting that strength to use in the scrum.
Oh, and if a fight breaks out (and it will), just sit back and watch.

I’m not a big fan of Super 15. Imo the Heineken cup is the best club competition in rugby. Supers is alright, but theres just something special about the Heineken cup that other comps can’t compete with.
Oh and, the 6 Nations>tri nations everytime.
At least they score trys in super 15 or stupid 15.
Rugby League is a superior game with better athletes
Plenty of trys scored in the H cup.
Rugby league is a great game, but nowadays the conditioning/athletic ability of the athletes isn’t that different between the codes. I don’t think league is superior, and the playing numbers/spectating numbers worldwide seem to suggest i’m not alone in that belief.
i thought craig joubert was determined to give the bulls that win. I think he was very strict with the cheetahs and lenient on the bulls, if it were’nt for that yellow i think they might have sneaked it. I also don’t understand why oh why the cheetahs subbed off all their physical defenders when the bulls put on all their massive ball carriers

Didn’t one of their players mouth off to the ref or something? Also, they missed A LOT of their penalty kicks.

The bulls were mouthing off more though. I agree they left 10+ points on the field due to poor goal kicking which , as it turns out, were vital points.

The last ten minutes of the Stormers/Lions game was better than the first 70!
I was severely disappointed in the stormers performance, but they seem to be pulling it together. I think (and hope) it was just the rust holding them back. On the other hand I am glad to say that we have the best midfield by far, possibly in the world. Looking forward to next weeks games.
