Sup guys new here.

If all you eat is meat/fat you will not be able to eat enough to grow.

Post a sample diet. They always end up being hundreds of grams. A low carb diet was posted in another thread, and it was around 300 grams.

Alpha who used to post here said he was “low-carb” only ate a few cookies but, he drank milk and when it was calculated he was at damn near 400 grams.

Because you wrote this.

How does dairy use fit into a kill?

And? I am speaking to carnivore proponents who argue against them while using dairy which is much more recent.

And, I am not arguing that carnivore cannot be used to lose fat it is great for that. It is an extreme elimination diet that avoids foods that can be addicting.

I am saying a real carnivore diet cannot be used to “bulk”. Would you avoid fruits, grains, or starches when eating in a surplus and trying to put on mass?

That is unequivocally false dude… I eat over 250 grams of fat a day and around 180 to 200 protein and I’m growing at 47 years old.

Again… what do carbs do that are magical?? I’ve asked like a half dozen times now.

Let’s say there are two calorically identical eating plans that are in a surplus, one is protein and carbs, and the other is protein and fats… why wouldn’t the protein / fat group grow muscle all things equal calorically, training stimulus, recovery, etc…?

100 grams of carbs = 400 calories
100 grams of fat = 900 calories

What’s magical about the carbs?

Is it possible for carb guy to consistently have more energy to lift heavy weights, because carbs are the energy source?

If you’re a carb burner, yes. Fat adapted athletes do as well or better on fats. Your body will use what it’s provided. I wrestle, Bjj, free spar for an hour straight with no breaks without carbs. I sodium load and feel great.

I did the massive carb shit for over 2 decades. Not like I’m speaking out of turn.

I have never promoted milk in any bodybuilder diet, either to cut or bulk.

It’s been well established that Milk is for babies.

Carbs are ESSENTIAL because beer is carbs.

Nobody is slammin’ back a few glasses of heavy cream with their bros on Saturday night.

For the love of god, can you guys not just agree that there is more than one way to skin a cat??

We have a new person. Pull yourselves together.

Fights over Emily, you missed it.

Choose a direction and run it with abandon.

If you can do that consistently for a couple of years you’ll be doing great. :+1:

In terms of if the animal is carnivore or not.

I genuinely don’t know.

I don’t know the answer to that either. I’m honestly not very familiar with carnivorous animals. You seemed to be more of an authority on it, which is why I was asking you. Unless you are as much a babe in the woods on these matters as I am, in which case we are the blind leading the blind, haha.

In this instance we see another case where it’s not simply animal flesh that is carnivore. This is what I find fascinating: upon initial glance it appears so simple, but there IS in fact nuance to it. My background is politics and philosophy, so I always find the nuance fascinating.

I like this addition, because it’s another interesting source of carbs. Fresh blood is going to have some cycling glycogen in it. Same with the meat, I suppose. Of course, not significant amounts, but once again: the nuance.

Hey I appreciate that dude. That’s exactly what I hope to bring. I’m like a crash test dummy: people can learn from my collisions! Haha.

It’s not gay if you don’t make eye contact.

Head here and give this a read

Along with the fat adaptation that was mentioned, if one ends up in a ketogenic state, they’ll start producing ketones, which also provide for a fuel source that can be extremely beneficial.

Heavy cream is awesome. Try frying your eggs in it.

Thanks for the article also.
