Where are you getting your info? For 2007 Cardella pulled a top ranked 810 (USAPL) at 275 and Siders pulled a top ranked 865 at SHW.
I struggle to think these are not within the top 10 pulls in their respective weight classes. If you are talking coefficient lifts, then yes. But not total weight lifted.

Both are awesome (I especially like Siders lifting), but neither one is top 10 for their weight class. No disrespect meant for either lifter. There are really only a couple out of the top 275lbs+ lifters that are sumo.
Nevermind. Just checked out the database on PL Watch although I question how many of those were done in a full meet without tokens…

Didn’t Bolton take token lifts in his 1000+ DL attempts?

Eh no. He hit a PR bench and did something like an 800lb squat in just briefs as far as I remember.
What is the reasoning behind that? Obviously if he had worn full gear he could have done the same weight without as much effort, or done more with the same effort. The guy squat over 1221 right? thats less than 2/3rds. I can understand taking an easy attempt to stay fresh, but why only briefs?

I doubt he’d hit depth with full gear and that weight.
