Success With BioTest Surge

Thanks for the tips John. I should have mentioned that the kettebell workouts are very similar to weight training. So let me get this right, I should use ribose-c and powerdrive before my sprint sessions and some more ribose-c after along with a generic protein/carb drink. Weight training, just surge and maybe the same for kettebell workouts. The daily dose of tyrosine, when should it be taken and in conjunction with what(or nothing at all)? If I’m on the right track please let me know. Thanks John.

John: Haven’t tried surge yet, but looking forward to it. I do have one question though - you stated to add nothing to it - it would seem that this would be a good time (while your spiking your insulin levels) to get some creatine in though. Would this be OK, as it should be benign enough, or would you recommend just using creatine at other times (or perhaps not at all, if surge is so effective)? BTW, if I was going to add creatine, my thoughts were the plain old bulk kind, not ribose-c or creatine-gylcerol-phosphate (which contains ALA).

Creatine certainly can be taken with Surge and Ive recommended this elsewhere. I do this myself as I mix in 10g of regular ol’ powder in with the Surge drink.

John, is this data out of your lab going to be published in a paper?

You could either take the powerdrive DURING or AFTER the workouts (sprints and kettleball). I know, I know, recommendations are to take it before training, but I prefer during to increase focus or after to provide neurotransmitter precursors for recovery. I would do this every day. Take the ribose c after training each day (sprints and kettle ball). In addition, just have a moderate protein/carb meal after the sprints and a protein/carb drink (0.8 and 0.4) after kettleball. To economize, take surge after weights. If you could afford it, I would say take it after weights and kettleball. But if you cant, just after weights is fine. Then, after weights, wait till your next meal to take the ribose c. This should maximize recovery from that INSANE schedule :slight_smile:

John, do you recommend taking fish oil capsules and flaxseed oil with Surge?

Triman – as mentioned quite a few times in testosterone or here on the forum, NOTHING is to be altered in the Surge formula. Just take your Surge and take your other goodies at other times. If they wanted EFAs in the product theyd be there. Everything is there that is needed for maximum effect

I can answer that for JB. NOOOOOO! Do not take fish or flax oil with surge. Except for creatine don’t even consider adding anything to surge.
