Bear in mind working with lighter weight for more reps allows you more time to practice and improve your technique

Especially with the current program. Doing FSL 5x5 has helped with that as well. To be honest the most important thing has been learning to properly contracting the lats. It felt really good. Almost no pain afterwards either, which is awesome. Thanks @gt213
