You plan on getting a 500+ lb tire shipped to you? Go to a local tire supply and ask for a used one, they’ll probably give it to you for free so they don’t have to worry about getting rid of it.
I have also been looking for a tire to flip. It was really hard to find one actually. I did find one finally. I finally found it at a tire supply warehouse. They only sell semi-truck tires and tractor tires. They gave me the tire for free, it’s an old wore-out tractor tire. It weighs about 300 pounds. It may help to call up some farmers or even a salvage yard. I found the place where I got my tire in in the phone book. Hope I helped you.
Best bet is to look-up a tractor supply store dealing with Bucket loaders and lifts. The tracor tires are bigger, yet lighter. If you want a “real” heavy one, the bucket loaders are the way to go. They are more dense and not nearly as big…some tractor tires are over 6’. I lucked out and found a spot in jersey that loves to get rid of them. It you are “dirty jerz” meathead, i can lead you the right way.
