does anyone know where to find/purchase strong man tires(400-600lbs)?
Check old junk yards, or tire factories. Everywhere I have read people will give you the tire(s) for free, as it costs the company $ to dispose of them.
Be sure to have a truck to transport the tire back to your gym. Or if you have someone bring the tire to you, tip em good.
Yellow pages. Under “TIRES”.
TNT
Most tire shops that deal with large vehicles should have them, and for free. Just call around, I’m sure they’d be glad for you to come take one off there hands.
become friends with a guy that owns a quarry.
Thats what I did.
or go to a tire shop like ashylarry, tire shops have to pay a fee for tires, especially big ones, to be recycled, so in most cases they’d rather give it away.
if you cant do any of the above, try like a tractor supply store or wahtever. Know someone who does stump grinding? own a huge tractor? and if allll else fails, get creative and five finger discount one from a local highschool

Yeah, I have seen a lot of front end loaders up on cinder blocks lately. Now I know what has happened to the tires. A reckless band of weight lifters are roaming the streets and stealing them. And I thought it was the rednecks looking to put them on their trucks.
Really, it is as easy as finding a shop and a truck, driving by and picking it up. Anybody who charges is ripping you off.
thanks for the responses am going to do what you guys recommended
