Yeah, essentially. I’m kind of apprehensive about it atm, for petty reasons. My long term goal is to open up a strength and conditioning gym. I’m just afraid of being swamped with work and school and having to train as well as never having been planning on going to school ever. So it’s a little weird currently, but yeah, in a way I am indeed saving for school brofatherdude.

135x8 all right arm. I did the first 3 without reracking it, but I was afraid to break my forearm because as I dropped it back to my chest to do another rep, it really slammed hard on my forearm so following 3rd rep, I reracked before the next rep.
135x6 with left, at first it was really hard for my left cause of weirdness, but I just gripped it further one way to have it rest more to my right so it’s not pulling me down the other way lol.

It’s rather funny how I recover from fails on this lift. I actually let it fall mid air at the top and catch it with both hands on my chest and drop it to waist and hang clean it and rerack lol.

Yeah, turned out to be one of THOSE days…

Surprisingly enough, I hardly have a sports backround! I can attribute some of my squatting and overhead strength to constantly lifting heavy shit as a child for the sake of lifting heavy shit. I was fascinated by WSM, and by middle school I was always trying to lift my younger brothers friends over my head when we’d wrestle and shit.
