I haven’t read any books but there is only one way to get into and good at strongman training. USE THE IMPLEMENTS!!! Seriously, there is no substitued for just practicing using the implements. The only other advice I’d have for you is to just get strong. Using westside for skinny bastard plus an events day would be just about perfect for getting stronger and using the implements. In closing it boils down to get strong, practice.
Its interesting that you mention WS4SB.
Do you use a similiar template? I have been working out for about 14 years now, so I didn’t know if the repition perscirptions may be too high in that program.
