NOT! Penn State… major ass whoopin’ today haha!

I like the Noles baby. We went into Miami’s house and shook it up. Penn State went to South Bend and got pulverized.

NOLES!!! …best college football team since Charlie Ward played there. Florida State players end up all over the NFL and are picked up like crazy on draft day.

You’re kidding right?

First of all…

The Hurricanes hold the record for most players selected in the first round in a single draft (6, in 2004);

most first-round draft picks in a two-year period (11, from 2003 to 2004);

most first-round draft picks in a three-year period (15, from 2002 through 2004);

and most first-round picks in a four-year period (19, from 2001 through 2004).

For the past 12 years, from 1994 through 2006, Miami has had at least one player selected in the first round of the NFL draft.

Second of all…

Shook them up?? It was 13-10?!!??! [/quote]

You must be kidding right?
You take a period of 2001-2004 when Miami was at their peak for draft picks… completly skipping over the 90’s when Florida State had an 11 year Dynasty of winning 10 games or more every year. Miami is good, nobody said they weren’t… but they just got beat by FLORIDA STATE! suck it up son, take your medicine YOU LOST or your team lost. Florida State is on top now Biatch… don’t ever come at me again with with that Hurrucane bullshit! The Noles are the best Florida team and everyone knows it. Miami and the Gators can battle it out for whose #2. FSU will beat both of them this year.

Go take that medicine son… your team is 0-1.

NOLES!!!

You said

“Florida State players end up all over the NFL and are picked up like crazy on draft day.”

I was simply stating the facts in the record books. I wasn’t saying anything about this years team.

I refuted both of your comments and you came back with an arguement that I never made.

I never said Miami was amazing this year.

I never said Florida State sucked.

I said the game was not a “shake up” it was 13-10.

Sorry.

Let me know when you can actually hold an arguement without turning into a homer.

Otherwise you seem to do pretty well refuting arguements that you create for me.

Yes FSU beat Miami this year.

You’re the one that brought up the past.

Arguing with a homer is like a train wreck… but for the sake of arguement…

“FSU Players end up all over the NFL…”

Rrrrrright…

You see a lot of unis that put tons of people in the NFL, but how many of them become well known players?

Let’s look at University of Miami…

Current players:
Vernon Carey
Bryant McKinnie
Antrel Rolle
Jonathan Vilma
D.J. Williams
Sean Taylor
Edggarin James
Clinton Portis
Santana Moss
Sinorice Moss
Jeremy Shockey
Warren Sapp
Vince Wilfork
Ed Reed

These are just some of the players in the NFL right now… and you actually HEAR about them.

BTW… Those were all first rounders (but not the complete list of first rounders)

You’re dellusional or something… or fucking retarded.

Notre Dame is usually #1 and Florida State is #2. What the fuck are you talking about?

Here’s a small list of some offensive players in the NFL that are known names and all went to Florida State. Don’t even get me started on the DEFENSE… my fingers would get tired.

-Anquan Boldin
-Javon Walker
-Laverneous Coles
-Peter Warrick
-P.K. Sam
-Warrick Dunn
-Greg Jones
-Willie Reid
-Chris Weinke
-Sebastian Janikowski

Now Defense is where Florida State is heavy…

…but I’ll just list 1- Boulware, take your pick Peter or Michael.

Will the following article shut you the fuck up?

Take your medicine son…

Florida A Garden For NFL
By Mike Cobb
mike.cobb@theledger.com

Have you ever thought about where the NFL gets its players? Sure, they draft them from colleges. But have you thought about which colleges, and which states, produce the most NFL players?

I mention this to point out that the state of Florida is one of the leading producers of NFL talent. It’s there in the numbers.

Florida State leads all colleges and universities with 42 former players now on NFL rosters. Florida is tied with Tennessee for second at 37.

And among high school talent that has gone on to the NFL, the state of Florida ranks second to California. Florida has sent 179 high school graduates on to the pros. California has sent 199.

Using information compiled and furnished by the NFL, here’s a more detailed breakdown of some of the numbers:

Top 10 colleges: FSU 42, Florida 37, Tennessee 37, Georgia 35, Ohio State 35, Michigan 34, Miami 33, Auburn 31, LSU 30, Notre Dame 30.

Let me know when you’re in my neighborhood so I can knock you off of your 10 speed, steal your bike, and ride home from the gym instead of walking.

You don’t even have an argument. You don’t have any facts that are even true. First off all you spat off about Florida State not having NFL players and bragging about Miami… meanwhile Florida State just so happens to have more NFL players than any college in the land. Please shut the fuck up before you embarrass yourself even furthur.

thanks for the reference.

This guy had some good things to say then concluded that football players should avoid power cleans, plyometrics, and exploisve speed movements! I’ll call BS on that.

How many of those players are second string?

How many of those players sit the bench?

How many of those players are on the practice squad?

First round draft picks tell a hell of a lot more than total players. 33 total players in the NFL. 19 of which are first round draft picks.

Quality > Quantity?

I’m done with this arguement. I’ve refuted everything you’ve said.

You’re just getting pissy now.

I understand and have acknowledged many times that Miami lost. However, I deny, as will any analyst, since you seem to be quoting analysts, that the game was a shake up on FSU’s part. Give me a fucking break. 13-10 is not a goddamn shake up.

Ad hominem? Real nice.

Facts that are even true?! They are records, of course they are true.

I never said FSU had no NFL players. I said Miami has records for first round picks.

And don’t tell me about embarassing myself, everything has been legitimate.

Embarassing is geting all flamed out to the point where you threaten to knock me off my bike because I have stated facts about a University’s NFL Draft history.

Is this really that upsetting?!

Comical actually… I wouldn’t knock you off of your bike, I was just being humorous. I guess that wasn’t funny. I’m a nice guy, but I do fight for my Noles! All the Florida teams are good, if they weren’t, they wouldn’t knock each other out of a National championship bout every year.

It’s a shame Steve Spurrier was too much off a pussy and never wanted to play Miami. Florida State has to play both tough games every year. I guess Florida will never hae Miami on the schedule.

As a Seminole… I hate Miami, but every true Seminole hates the Gators with a passion.

I still feel the best game in college football is the Florida State Vs Florida game. I miss those drunken nights after that game… and the getting drunk before the game and sneeking the flask in for the game.

Did you happen to see the game today? Troy state…the king of cupcake D1 teams took your noles for a ride…

yea, looks like the noles had some trouble with troy. But penn state may not be the team this year but what were you saying last january…still wearing your “NOLES” shit with pride???

WTF is with all these people who like to bring up old shit like it makes a difference in the Noles 2006 battle for the National Championship?

Do I detect a sore Penn State fan or two for getting their ass handed to them by Notre Dame?

Losers… take your fuckin medicine. & STFU!

Agreed on the Florida vs. Miami. Spurrier stopped playing Miami after they were no long able to pull things like the Gator Flop.

Usually FSU and Miami fans are tolerable at games… its a ribbing but they can sit in the same seats.

Florida fans are just annoying and its the same story every year:

Nataional Championship Caliber!!! but they end up with 3 losses. It’s no wonder they have only 1 crystal ball.

tOSU looked good against Texas, but the victory was no surprise, Texas’s QB is wayyy to young for that big of a game.

The FSU-Miami Game is always a classic though, no matter how much better either team is it always comes down to the wire. That’s why I laugh when I hear people that make predictions about the game and say it will be a complete blow-out.

The FSU-Miami game is always close. Miami usually has FSU’s #. Miami is always a tougher game for FSU than Florida.

Ya know… that whole wide right thing. I think there are 4 wide rights and one wide left.

Haha, this is quite humorous. Us FSU Fans are quite crazy, no doubt. Yesterday’s game (vs. Troy) wasn’t about strength, but just a lack of game.

I’m biased, but I do think we have some of the strongest players (and genetically gifted “freaks”) as its been said before. Hell, look at this FSU fan above me!

In any case, I say:

FSU
Miami
OSU
Michigan
UT (though yesterday they were lookin’ sluggish)

– the state of Florida takes its weightlifing (AND its football seriously)

Happy fighting, boys!

not a sore loser man, notre dame is a much better team, and they proved it, plus penn state had a really bad day. that was obvious. but i hate to tell you that FSU is not a championship caliber team. If you think they are you are living in a delusional world.

Oh most definitely… right!

They only played for the National Championship like 4 times in the last 10 years… WTF was I thinking.

We beat Miami at home, the toughest game on the schedule and now we have no chance at the title. I’m fucking delusional!

It looked as if troy was a pretty big challenge yesterday. And from what I can recall abuot FSU last year it wasn’t the big games they had trouble with, it was the games that had little importance at the time. FSU is ranked 10th, I don’t see that much of a shake up in the top 10 for FSU to jump from 10 to the top 2. Look at WVU’s schedule, with the lose of micheal bush from louisville there schedule should be easy. Ohio state who do they have left michigan. The game FSU has left is florida. If notre dame beats michigan and USC it doesn’t matter what you’re noles do man, they can go undefeated. Plus texas only dropped to 8th with a lose to the toughest team they play.
