Strong Coffee Cafe

I noticed that we often hang out in PW during the same times. Thought this could be a place to chitchat and exchange without chasing eachother through logs. Plus, I make a fine coffe: Organic grains, freshly grinded and using filtered water. Grab a chair, it’s nice to see you again.

I like this idea.
I’m drinking coffee right now. Trying to adapt to drinking it black.

All start the ball:
what car do you drive?
what car do you want to drive?

I drive a '95 Altima bought used december 2008. My first car - a big boat of a car and learning to navigate it around nasty city traffic has been quite the challenge. There has been learning curves and scratches.

I would love to drive a Lotus Evora or Europa.

hey Alisa - I learned back in college/university when I was poor as Oliver Twist. My groceries was a choice between bread or milk. Bread won.

Are you doing it for diet reasons? or budget? or taste?

I gotta go wipe my daughters nose, brb :stuck_out_tongue:

I drive a Ford Explorer…

I’d love to fix up an Mustang some day!

On coffee: diet, basically. Can’t be drinking milk all the time. Ouch, those are some serious budget woes.

Cars: oh, I won’t be able to afford a car for at least five years. Might look into zipcars for occasional excursions (sometimes it’s nice to be able to go places that aren’t on train lines!)

mmmmmmmmm, black organic coffee is deelicious. i buy San Francisco Bay organic rainforest something from costco. they claim it’s free trade. i use my brita pitcher for the water and no paper filter. it’s pretty strong. almost never use cream cause i like it strong.

i gave my '95 Honda Accord coupe to my deadbeat sister. i was the original owner, came off the dealership floor and loved it. now i have an '09 Honda Accord coupe. the misses drives an 06 Acura TL. we are a Honda family…i love them.

i’d like to take a spin in one of my co-workers cars…a beautiful Audi A5 coupe…omg…sexy beautiful. i just saw Jaguar finally updated their sedan…looked good from what i saw. i love the big BMWs…700s…oohhh pretty.

and i need to get my mom’s '70 Dodge Charger off my step-dad’s property and sell it. (it’s the Dukes of Hazzard car) i’d love to have it fixed up but i don’t have the time/$/resources and my sisters would want their cut. so we plan to sell it and split whatever we get.

I buy Kickhorse coffee: organic and free trade. The Mexican blend is so good I eat the beans right out of the bag. I also use my Brita filter but I used non bleached paper. No paper? that is hardcore T.

Same here–well, I don’t think I’d be the one to fix it up (unless I learn a lot more about how to), but yeah. When I was still at home, I’d always go to car shows with my dad and older brother. Always loved those older Mustangs.

I drive a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, except I had to leave it at home. I’ll definitely be driving it down next year if it’ll survive the 26+ hour drive.

Supper: mexican sea food stew. yummers!

I like to drink a large black myself.

Once you go black, you never go back.

Nlmain, supper sounds good!

I had a chicken & veggie stir fry on some whole wheat pasta. Yummy!

I drive a 98 Corolla. I don’t really have any car wishes; as long as it gets me around I’m happy. What I would really like is for someone to clean out my car. Any takers? I can’t promise any pay, but I can promise a nice tall glass of water when you’re done.

Did somebody say strong black coffee? I’m in.

I’ll wash your car if you wash mine! lol. Seriously I haven’t cleaned mine since I got it back in december '08. I’m ashamed really. Problem is living in the city. or that I’m lazy. Or both.

All right throwing out a new question: if you could travel anywhere BUT only had like 2,000$ and a week’s vacation where would you go?

Black crack. I love it, I grew up drinking tea, but once I started coffee, that was it. All over bar the shouting.

Beaches in Thailand, or Bali, i am thinking at the moment, that could change.

hmmm and what if that budget was for 2 people? Don’t think I could swing it. I’m askin cause I won a trip with my job. I’d like to leave last week of april but I’m not sure were to go… I’m curious as to where others would hang out.

Once you get there, expenses are cheap, but…arhhh, 2 people might be pushing it. I would try and get to somewhere off the beaten path myself, where there it’s possible to see how the locals live.
