man i dont get why this happens it pisses me off. im on the wssb2 program and last thursday i tried to just see what my max is and surprisingly i hit 225. so today is my monday max upperbody day and i couldnt even hit 210 twice…why the drop off? has anyone else experienced this? how do i prevent it? freakin pisses me off man.
are you still cutting, might look at diet and rest. Same as the last time a week or so ago when you had a bench drop off
Phill
Maybe stickin’ with flat bench for too long. Change the movement up maybe
Max effort movements are meant to be cycled.
Time to change it up.
it’s the curse of the “you ask questions and don’t listen to the answers” gods…
wtf is wrong with you, you are still tired from the previous attempt at max
has anyone else experienced this?
man, has anyone else NOT experienced this?
you got a personal best and then 4 days later, tried to get ANOTHER personal best?
you can do that as a beginner but you probably are not a beginner anymore
i wasnt trying to get a personal best. i did 205 3 times about 2 weeks ago for my max effort lift and i wanted to go to 210 3 times…i mean if i hit 225 once i can hit 210 3 times dont u think?
OFF topic question: how much do u guys try to increase every week for WSSB2 for your max effort lifts? if u did 205 3 times this week wouldnt u try 210 the next week

210’s 93% of 225. If you’ve been training hard for the last few weeeks I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you missed 210 for 3.
You need to stop asking yor computer lifting questions and go get a trainer. Your far beyond help on the internet.
