Street Fighter IV

XBL

BadDog108 = Vash

My brother says Ken’s shoryuken is the best move in the game.

Do you guys agree?

Says Ken probably has the best anti-air of all the characters.

no chance…id say guile has the best anti-air in general…throw a slow sonic boom and dash forward…if they jump use the flashkick…if they block, then throw

int he end it doesnt matter… if u dont time your moves right, you leave yourself vulnerable for combos and you will lose

if it was for any reason at all for me to go and fork out money for a 360 and a game it would be this game right here.

the memories of playing street fighter at the local convience store begging for quarters outside for a “bus ride” home coupled with better graphics and online play from my couch.

wow, dude I am so friggin happy I could just shit my pants

AND RSGZ I will find you on there one day soon buddy, youll see

So I’m destroying this Ken, and he’s begging me to teleport [I’m Bison at the moment]. I quote: “Dude, can’t you teleport?! Com’mon! Act like your scrub self knows how to play! Get aggressive. Teleport! Come the hell on! Fucking scrub, you know how to play, right?! Teleport!”

So I use a focus attack that kinda looks like the start of a teleport, and he screams “yes!” Then low-sweeps, shoryukens, tornado kicks. When he realizes he didn’t hit me, he yells “bitch move, scrub! Bitch fucking move!” I then hit a super, and he drops the game.

Long, drawn out narrative which leads to this point: if you main Ken, you’re a bitch.

BadDog108 - Ken Killer. Accepting friend invites and matches at all times.

I don’t really see how you can fault people for wanting to play as a conventional character with a decent move set. That guy was obviously a sack of shit, but Ken seems pretty much designed to attract a lot of players.

I don’t fault them; he is a fun character with a great move set.

But out of the past 50 or so fights, I had only four that weren’t Ken. It’s monotonous.

Mother F’er, I was online when you posted this message. Me and En Sabur Nah were playing.

Good matches.

Here is my problem: You have tons of people who talk shit and say “I’m good, I’ll whip your ass, blah blah blah” and they pick the easiest player to pick or one they can spam with(Ken and Akuma). Most people who brag and pick those character, upper cut all day or do the air hadouken all day.

After years of practicing against better players and douchebags who spam hadoukens, you shoot past their blasts, fuck them up fiercely, and they get pissed.

“That is such bullshit…that is such bullshit”

Anyone who uses Zangief willingly and is effective, I respect them more then any Akuma and Ken player.

I’ll learn El Fuerte and Abel on my down time.

Yeah, I get that. Ken is simply an appealing character though, both in terms of design and moveset(his f.mk is completely rad). Crybabies definitely don’t help things with their shit-talking, but not everyone who mains as Ken is some asshole.

Also, the game hasn’t been out long. Give it a bit of time, and people will migrate to other players. I think I’m going to start trying out some alts today.

I remember having coffee with a friend and a conversation about how the world is divided into Kens and Ryus with the occasional Guiles.

Zangief is highly underrated, or was underrated.

I love Cammy and Bison. If play as another character, it’ll be Fei Long.

Sagat is a bullshit character. Was just thrown into the game for the story line factor.

Dhalsim, “Every once in a while, I pull out the old SNES and I beat the shit out of myself”…

LMAO.

SF IV/T-Nation update:

I’ve fought Vash, En Sabuh Nah, and Pootie Tang 22

All great fights. Watch out for Pootie’s Blanka. That son of a bitch.

Don’t let WolBarret fool you guys, that dude is a Street Fighter elite. I got about a 30% win percentage against him and that was with him using Zangief about 75% of the time. Bring your A game when you battle this guy ladies and gentlemen.

I did get the last win though, GO FEI LONG!!

When Pootie plays Blanka, he’s basically an electric chair waiting for you to sit in it and get fried. Also, his Ken is a tricky bastard.

En Sabuh Nah’s Cammy is pretty shifty and he can pull off some nice combos with her. His Sagat is Defensive, but he link some nice combos with the Tiger Knee.

Vash is always trying to put the Raging Demon on you, so watch out. He tried, but no cigar.
