Does the online matchmaking use an elo system to find players of similar skill, or is it completely random?

There are a couple of match making priorities you can set skill lvl being one of them. You can do Higher skill lvl, same, or lower lvl.
i’m lovin’ Gen, but he’s destroying my percentage. Think I’m going to roll Akuma out and destroy for a few hours.
Yes this game is badass. Well worth the $60 spent. Damn I remember being like 9years old in 1990 and going to the shop down the road that had 2 SF2 and one SF1 and spending like $5 a day getting hella good. Id use Guile and make him freeze(down/up strong kick/punch) after winning the round with a razor kick and let it sit a while then for some stupid reason reset the game with down/up fierce kick/punch. That was hella fun. Waste of my coins but definitely fun.My kids wanna place my SF4 but no luck. Its daddy’s game ![]()
anyone going to get the DLC costumes? I got the first one for free with the collectors edition and I will defiantly get the one for Ken, Ryu, Akuma, ect. But I dont know about the others.
Im really enjoying Kenfighter IV
Quite enjoying maining as abel, getting quite good at his string into throw and timing his tornado throw for unsuspecting shotoclones.
Back my ranking sucks atm and i need to play online more most of my matches online thus far have gone, roll to avoid projectile then combo into throw or 360 throw. Or skyfall over predictable players again and again.
All in all this has been best straight up SF for me since Alpha 3
. . .
I will PayPal people to play as someone aside from Ken. Hell, avoid shoto’s all together, double your profits.
Akuma-spammers hate when yo also select akuma, then double-perfect their asses.
I can make teh bitches [well, those that suck at SF and spam the howdoyoudoken/SRK chains] cry with Bison’s devil’s reverse.

Just unlocked all the characters and Seth as a playable character is actually very smooth. His supers suck ass as far as damage is concerned but his movement is sweet.
For the guys playing on line whats is your win percentage? I’m hovering around 63% with about 130+ matches under my belt. Not too proud about it but it takes a while to get in my rhythm some days.
A little bit under 70% here (around 130+ wins and 70 losses).
I just need to learn how to deal with people that throw all the time, and people that just block and crouch. I’ve finally figured out how to do the focus attack dash cancel so zoning and keep-away really isn’t a problem anymore.
Doesn’t help that the 360 d-pad is ass and the analog stick is a wee bit too sensitive. That’s around 10 losses right there when I didn’t perform the right move when I need to.

I think they guy playing as Ryu made him look better than he really is. I mean his is good but it took Ryu the first 5 rounds b4 he finaly started useing his Shoryuken then finaly swiches up what he was doing. That in turn makes Akuma think twice about jumping and throwing his Zankū Hadoken.
But to bad he then falls right back into what he was doing b4
Oh, just watched that video, and you must not know who Daigo is. He’s been playing top level street fighter for a minute now.
I use Balrog online against people. I’ll play you guys if you would actually get on the fucking xbox live. I’ve only met Bujo so far and we played left 4 dead.
MD Geist86 (I live on the east coast, so east coast time)
Xbox live gamertag up above.
If you want to see cheap boss, play a King of Fighters game. Those bosses are cheap. Seth is just a cock sucker.
Street Fighter 3rd strike is the best 2D fighter and better than SF 4. But one’s an A plus and the other an A minus. Both kick ass.
Seriously, give me your gamer tag so I can play you guys in SF IV on XBOX live. PM it to me, send an e-mail, post it here, I don’t care.
Send it!!!
MD Geist86
Exactly like that, including the space between the MD and Geist86. I use Balrog at the moment, but I’ll switch up and use Guile, Ryu, Blanka, or Sagat. And Abel. Don’t be gay, send me an request, and fight me.
PLEASE HAVE A MIC! I don’t like cursing at people who can’t respond.

WTF? Maybe you aren’t lying, but I’m really inclined to call bullshit. You say you still need to learn how to deal with people who throw, block, and crouch, and that you’ve just figured out how to FADC, AND you’re playing with a 360 controller instead of a fight stick, and you’re sitting just below 70%?
Yeah, either massive bullshit, or you’ve been fighting nothing but the scrubbiest of scrubs.

Oh no he didn’t …
but seriously, fucking add me as a friend, give me your gamertag, and then we can go one on one in Street Fighter IV.
I don’t mean to sound like an ass, but given everything the guy said, it’s hard to believe he’d have that kind of record.
psn tag : mooseyLV
add me for some solid competition
There’s no way for a 360 player to play a PS3 opponent on the same game, right?
I would think no but it’d be nice if players of the same game could engage in console-neutral competition.
Give me a few weeks and I’ll get on 360 to whoop some ass. Single file line, bitches.
MD Geist86
Don’t be gay, add me, and fight me.
Much respect goes out to Vash for actually adding me and fighting me.
I’ll be at it again when my Gen decides he doesn’t suck at life.
And the next fucker that spends 20 seconds at character select, then STILL goes back to Ken, I’m dumping the match and filing a negative review.
KenFighter IV, infuckingdeed.
Fighting the same character over and over is about as fun as . . . well, it’s fucking not.
