Update 2: Hi Guys, please see my labs below after 4 weeks of 2mg estradiol pills. Testosterone stayed the same at 160mg/week and HCG at 200IU/week.
Total Testosterone: 963 (down from 1380)
Free Testosterone: 20.44 (down from 57.83)
Estradiol: 68 (up from 43)
I was surprised that my testosterone had dropped so much as I did not change my protocol, could the estrogen supplementation be causing this? Anybody know???
I did these labs with Quest as it was cheaper but I usually go to Labcorp, could that be it?
Regarding how I feel, my insomnia went from bad to worse around week 3 but it has gone back to bad again.
I noticed that I’m not using my lip-balm and eyedrops as frequently as I used to and wondering if it’s cause of the increased estrogen as I have always heard it referred to as the lubricant of the body.
Other than that, I really don’t feel any different and will be bumping the dose to 4mg and will report back again after four weeks. I’m thinking of experimenting with injections as well if the pills don’t yield results. All feedback is welcome!

Maybe, different types of assay and/or different process of measurement. There is some variability there. I usually stick to one lab if using for comparison.

First thing I wanna say is…Robroy is hilarious.
I have been dealing with the same exact description of issues that Robroy posted about in the beginning. I have also noticed over years of use that immediately after a shot, my libido is gone. Sometimes 8 days after an injection I feel a glimmer of libido but it’s not long lived.
I could go on all day about my symptoms and how I got here. But I want to say this…things slowly got worse over the years. Everything started from cycling for bodybuilding, and I felt great at that time. My first scare was when I started messing with tren, and then it went downhill from there.
I tried recovering naturally (did not work) so I went on self prescribed TRT and have been for almost 4 years. First couple years were manageable, but the past year and a half, i noticed libido become almost non existent. It’s been ruining my life honestly.
Two weeks ago I saw a doctor and finally got legitimate prescribed test. We’re starting at 100mg once per week. I’m supposed to do 5000iu HCG twice a week, but I’m low on my supply and the prescribed hcg is extremely expensive. And before anyone says anything, I have 10 years experience with HCG! I have always used it. I’m all for trying high doses, as this doctor said 250iu twice weekly is not enough. I never thought of taking that high, but maybe he is on to something.
Anyway, I just order Estradiol Valerate and I will be starting it as soon as I get it. I probably won’t go much higher on test, depending on what the doctor says after bloodwork. My goal is to keep the drugs to a minimum. I’m tired of the chemicals I put in my body. I did a lot of abuse in the past. Luckily I’m healthy and I want to try and be as clean as possible. BUT I am also willing to do ANYTHING to have a better quality of life. Even if it kills me (not kidding).
So I will post real uncut anecdotal progress on estrogen pills. I been doing this a long time, I will know if there is any changes. Hope Robroy chimes in again!

Update 2: My doctor is against bumping up my dose to 4mg but I went ahead anyway and after one week, I decided to stop as I started feeling emotional.
I don’t think this is the solution for me so I have switched to injecting once a week to see if that helps. Good luck to you all!

No. I have dropped everything but test and currently experimenting with once a week injections so see if I aromatize more. Will do labs on new year’s day and the reintroduce estradiol pills.

In the same boat as you- did a bunch of androgens and they just worsened my depression and libido. I’m on day 3 or 4 of 2 mg estradiol daily… not noticed much yet, maybe a bit more emotional and definitely feeling a bit depressed. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
I just took my first 2mg estrogen today.
I’m gonna see how it goes.

I’m on my 6th day on estrogen 2mg.
Zero estrogenic side effects. I’ve been having some spurts of libido. Can’t tell you if it’s the estrogen or not.
I’m about 7 days from my last injection of test, which around this time is when libido does better naturally.
Can’t really say it’s estrogen yet, but I have zero negative effects. Nothing that resembles high estrogen.
I’ll keep taking this dose and just see what happens. I’ll keep everyone updated. I plan on doing this for a minimum of 3 months so I will for sure have some accurate feedback.
I have a very good grasp of my situation and can accurately spot changes, etc.

Did you get the estrogen from a provider? Looking at this option as i am always running low on e2 unfortunately.
Not sure if I’m allowed to say where I got it. No it wasn’t from a provider. If you search hard enough online, you’ll find a source.
I was able to, thanks for the tip though… Please keep posted on your protocol, Trying to gather as much info as i can.

@Robroy hows your experiment going? im currently on 1mg valerate a day, 4 months off of TRT. Fucked up my SHBG and that made my TRT not work at all. Hoping to get my SHBG up with this estrogen valerate. So far after 2 weeks it completely got rid of my joint pain, feeling much better mentally and i am pretty damn relaxed even tho i probably dont have any endogenous testosterone in me right now (exogenous estrogen is suppresive so im assuming it prevents my LH/Test from bouncing back). Definitely a feel-good-drug. Will test my SHBG in a couple more weeks, since in the studies in women in took several weeks for their shbg to go up significantly. Will stay off TRT for probably 6 months total or generally until my SHBG is back up where its supposed to be

The join pain relief is my main goal with trying the estrogen tablets.
definitely works for lowE2 related joint pain, takes a couple days tho
I’ve always had higher libido around trough. In multiple different doses. Which is why I like spreading my weekly dose and not do ED or EOD.
Can’t explain don’t know why.
