Stallone and His Secret

I watched a short interview of Stallone because he has a new fitness book out… woopie… and he said some correct info about dieting, BUT then he said the magic potion for dieting is apple cider vinegar… he said it was like magic. I’m thinking… Berardi recommends it to balance out the acid base balance right, not for it’s magical effects of dieting??? He failed to mention his steroid use for keeping in shape for his Rambo and Rocky movies… what about those magic potions he injected?

to think that’s all we needed was vinegar, I’m goin to the store and buying a few gallons of the apple cider stuff right away (HELLO HYUGENESS)!

One way or the other, dude stayed in pretty good shape.

Also, he suffered a pretty significant pectoral tear in the early 80’s that would have kept the mere transient “I’m just getting in shape for my next movie” actor from ever going back into the gym.

The dude’s 59 years old and still looks amazing. I think he just might know a tad little bit about being fit.

obviously, but the vinegar thing is still funny

Yeah, ok, so I loaded up on vinegar today.

But when do you drink the vinegar? As soon as the last weight hits the floor or 90 minutes after?

And is it true that apple cider vinegar is more effective than rice wine vingegar?

Somebody help a poor guy out.

I always thought it was his short Blue-Movie career (Italian Stallion).

Apple cider vinegar that hasn’t been processed has been touted as a diet miracle by naturo-types for years. They say to put a tablespoon in water and drink it 15 minutes before a meal, I believe.

Being in shape doesnt mean you know dick about anything. Especially as rich as he is, with that money you can pay people to train you and cook for you, drive you to the gym, ect ect.

Heck mabe he does know a thing or two but the comment about Cider Vinegar makes him suspect.

Heard J Lo’s Trainer say he doesnt have her do any excersises that “tone” the glutes. Hillarious, but fuck it he is making the big bucks and I am sure he is not completely clueless.

He also has a line of his own supplements out called Instone. Im sure you have all heard of it. I love the pudding really, it tastes pretty good. The MRP’s are nothing to sneeze at either. I dislike the LeanFire though, it just seems like every other fat loss product out there. The Forza-T is like a T-Bomb from MHP as well.

If only Biotest made pudding like he does. Hmm…

Yea apple cider vinegar + honey is good for your system, it helps clear out toxins and stuff, doesn’t hurt to use and its rather cheap as well. My parents drink it. It’s also good for females to drink prior to getting their period. It’s also good if you feel the possibility of you getting ill.

What exactly does the apple cider vinegar do though?

ACV w/ meals is actually a good idea.

First any type of vinegar greatly lowers the GI of a meal. Look at how much lower sourdough bread is compared to normal.

Secondly, some research shows that acetic acid is a partioning agent. IE it makes carbs get preferntially stored as muscle glycogen.

Yeah, I guess he neglected to mention the rest of his “magic” ingredients, such as Deca, anavar, test, etc…Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but shit, lets not be naive. His secret to long term fitness doesn’t have anything to do with vinegar.

The reason he said that was because he is coming out with a new diet called “A Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar A Day Will Keep Fat Away.” If you have the money, now might be a good time to invest in the Apple Cider Vinegar market.

Back when I was in HS (1993-1995) i worked at a Food Lion. The huge thing localy was this stuff called “Joggin’ in a Jug” it was sold on the juice isle and we couldn’t keep it on the shelf. It came in gallon glass jugs and sold for $5.00. Old folks swore by it. We had no idea what it was untill a bud of mine and I were stocking shelves and broke a bottle. Apple Vinegar… That’s all it was…$5.00 a gallon apple vinegar with some spices…

Nice to see that some fittness scams are going retro.

Your 15 right? Or just stupid? Its the shape he is in NOW that we are talking about. Staying in shape at his age is easy if your rich. Same as if someone paid your ass to train you would definitly get better results then if you had to work and raise a family.

Also I will say again FUCK WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE, those are not necassarilly credentials for you to advise others you might know what works for you but if you dont have education and experience in training others, a six pack aint enough.

For example I dont care what the authors here look like its cool if they are in shape but its not proof they know what they are talking about. The proof is in the fact that the articles are based on research, physiological knowledge, and experience training a wide variety of people. In addition the countless people who post the good results they get from these programs here.

Bro I would be wicked impressed if you could come up with an intelligent response. Fuck it, it doesnt have to be on this subject, just say something intelligent and of value. Prove your not a complete idiot.
Go ahead moron, thrall me with your acumen.

Stallone is so cool, I want to have his babies.

If you guys are going out buying ACV, don’t get the crap off the shelves at your local grocery. Go to a health food store like whole Foods or whatever is local to you and get BRAGG’S brand ACV. It’s all natural, not processed to hell the way the Heinz ACV is, for example.

And if you’re tkaing hone,y make it the raw, local honey. The enzymes in that are better for you. The Sue Bee or Burleson’s honey you’re seeing in the grocery may as well be CANDY. All the good stuff is cooked and processed out of it.

Taking a spoonful of honey every day will help with seasonal allergies, as well.
