in an earlier post about hcg;you mentioned doing clomid instead along with some other thing. however, you stated you do 1 75mg injection of T? how long into your recovery regiment do you take the testosterone? its only 1 shot? who recommended that to you and why?
thanks
mxim
Actually that reccomendation was made by a man who writes for this site and knows about such things. Actually, I would take a full week off, make sure my levels are bottomed on all androgens, and then do the 100mg’s of test shot. Perhaps do one shot per week for two weeks. You levels should be low enough even on this shot where your body seeks to restore LH. Androgel is optimal but Test E should work as well. Recovery shouldn;t take a whole lot longer than normal.
Do you find this helps a lot???
And how much primo would you use if you opted for it?
Spook is the man with the primo regiment. I would say 100mg/week but I believe that he reccomends 200. This definitly helps take the pain away from recovery.
The only problem with primo post cycle is it doesn’t combat the imbalance related depression and moodiness, the way that a little test would. This doesn’t matter so much with me cause my wife thinks I am a whiny asshole anyway…
How’s the snow Squatty?
I dunno guys, I think when you’re trying to recover, adding any exogenous androgens is just doing the ol’ HPTA a disservice.
I like to clear all exogenous AAS and then hit the clomid hard. Otherwise you’re just prolonging your cycle IMHO.
Agreed Warhorse. However I don’t like to lose all of what I gained and get fat and weak and acne becuase I have a huge imbalance of estrogen/testosterone levels. The purpose in my opinion is just to get ya past that first month. I don’t believe in bridging all year round…
So are either viewed as better primo vs. a little test, or is it just a matter of preference? I think the next cycle I run I’ll use test in my PCR.
I think the test would be more helpful emotionally. The primo I really like because of its minimally androgenic nature. More of me tends to get back to normal, hair is not as coarse, body hair growth stops, etc. The only difficulty I’ve had this time out was the post cycle depression. I’ve maintained weight and strength but just haven’t been a happy camper lately. Could just be my turn in the barrel, but I suspect the imbalance is atleast partially to blame…
