Squatting and Pooping

Wondering if anyone out here has this problem I have. I do my dynamic warm up, then my warm up squat sets and by the time I’m ready for my first working set I have to poop. I feel like I lose my focus and drive a little when I have to stop and poop. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

With these bad boys, you don’t have to choose between squatting or pooping.

Do they come in different colors?

When it’s all said and done, they all end up the same color anyway.

Just because I don’t want to shut down your legitimate(ly funny) question by trolling, I will say that as somebody who literally takes 4-6 shits a day (no joke), I always make sure to drink coffee or a preworkout at least a 1/2 hour before the gym because it always makes me take a shit without fail. Do whatever it takes to get that dookie out before you get in the gym. I hate stopping my workout to drop a deuce.

  1. To 6. Times a day.

I asked my doctor about it a while back and he told me that some people shit every time they eat and some shit once every 3 days but as long as your stool is normal (not diarrhea and not hard lumps), it’s fine. I’ve always been this way. Probably contributed to me being so skinny when I was younger, and I have to eat a fuckton to gain weight.

Same.

Well that’s good, it must mean you have a fast metabolism if you go that much. Yeah I usually drink a coffee or a preworkout as I’m warming up

Hence drinking it 30 mins BEFORE you warm up.

Yeah dude, you failed to mention that you’re drinking diuretics while warming up. Three things are certain in life: death, taxes, and shitting soon after drinking preworkouts. Especially while warming up for squats. Seriously bro, way to leave out vital information.

I guess that solves the mystery then lol. So drink my pre workout before I warm up instead of while I warm up

what about for people who get the shits every time they have an anxious thought and every time they want to PR on an important lift they get anxiety ???

I do three times before I get to the gym getting worried about the whole workout.
Then I calm down during warm ups
then I get anxious again for my top set

That’s really inconvenient. I would say maybe try to look at the bigger picture and try to resolve some of your anxiety. Try different breathing techniques, going for long walks, even meditate daily and especially before your workout. Try and visualize yourself performing the lifts with ease so when you get to the bar it’s like you’ve already done it before

I get like this when I’m competing even though I’ve done so for 10 years. It’s not bad now that I’m unequipped but skinning of a squat suit when my stomach got bad was some super good times.
