Squats with Deads?

When training for strength would it be more appropriate to do squats and deads in the same leg workout, and then focus on chins and rows on my back day? or should I use deads on my back day?

I prefer splitting leg training into quad and hip dom day as Ian King suggests. On one leg day you start with deads and the next you start with squats. There’s about 3-4 days between leg days.

Are you “powerlifting,” as in attempting to further your 1RM in each respective exercise, or are you just attempting to get stronger. What I am really asking is what kind of stance are you using for your squat?

I’m not really concerned with increasing my 1RM, just increasing strength. And as far as my stance when performing a squat I try to keep my feet a little wider then shoulder width apart.
