Squats Shake

Hello. I don’t know if any of you have ever tried that Super Squats routine along with the shake that’s in the book, but I decided to try it, and well the squats are going great, but the only problem is that I’ve had loose bowels from the shake along with the milk. Now I’m not sure if the milk is contributing to it, but I’m pretty sure the shake is. Has this happened to anyone else? Or are there any suggestions out there? Should I break up the shake into smaller servings? I am currently drinking about four 8 ounce servings a day broken up. Some of them are with meals, and some are just alone. The ingredients are as follows:

4 cups of Milk
2 cups of Powdered Milk
1 Banana
0.25 cup Brewer’s Yeast
2 tablespoons Lecithin
1 tablespoon Wheat Germ Oil
1 large scoop Ice Cream

Any suggestions and comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Um, maybe you should read some nutrition info that wasn’t written back in the 80’s?

That is the stupidest shake I have ever seen.

Two full cups of Protein powder? WOW, I think that may be the problem.

Try Surge, its the BOMB!!!

Yes, while exercise routine protocols often stand the test of time, nutrition moves on.

Whilst the supersquat plan was written as a full lifestyle program to allow maximum bulk in minimal time, you can now do much better with regard to post-workout supplementation (and daily nutrition). Take a look at the massive archives of literature (forum and articles) on this subject in the past few years, and follow the advice.

If you’re short on money, a home-made concoction can still suffice, but base it on modern principles. I won’t go into details here- read on, and if you’re still confused, PM me. (I also hope that a certain T-man and forumite named Greekdawg doesn’t mind me mentioning his name as a famous DIY nutrition shake maker!) Don’t worry, you’re gaining won’t suffer- indeed it will most likely be greatly improved. I would very much like to think that Mr Strossen’s nutritional advice with regard to shakes would be similar to ours were he to re-write the book now.

BEst of luck, SRS
