Squat Variations

I’m posting a lot today … but whatever.

What are the different variations of squats?

Olympic, power, front, over head …

What’s the difference between olympic squat ,power squat, and full squat.

I came across an article Side Comparison Of Power And Olympic Squats!

What I got out of it is that power squat is a little wider, and you only sit back to parallel, where an olympic squat is basically atg / full squat.

You are basically right, although how wide a powerlifter squats depends a lot on individual body shape and what sort of gear they are lifting in.

And don’t forget about front squats, Zercher squats, Bulgarian split squats and barbell hack squats!
