Squat Shoes: SAFE/Titan vs Inzer Pillar

I have had some foot problems and my doc said I should get some shoes specifically made for weight lifting. I use a medium to wide stance, and prefer a flat soled shoe. The SAFE/Titan and Inzer Pillar seem to have a pretty low heel. Looking for opinions on thes shoes from lifters that have used them. I thoght about the Metal shoes, but don’t want to spend that much. I can pick up a pair of the Safes for under a hundred, and the Inzers for a bit more.

Thanks

The Safe shoes I have do have a small heel. Can’t comment on the Inzers as I’ve never used them.

Thanks for the reply. How much of a heel does the Safe have? Would you mind measuring it for me. A slight heel probably won’t be a problem for me, as I use to squat in my combat boots that had a bit of a heel.

Where can you find Safe/Titan shoes for less than a hundred dollars?

I have the inzer moonboots. They are good if you like a flat heel. not exceptionally stable but better than chucks for sure. They do the trick.

The Safe shoe I have has about a 1/2 inch heel.

Thanks again, Burt. I found a pair of used Safes for $80. A little leary of buying used, but for the price I was thinking about it. However, I measured my foot, and the shoes for sale are too small. I think I will go with the Inzer pillars. They aren’t too expensive, and the heel looks pretty low.

Could just try wrestling boots
