I’m actually a swell guy and have saved/enriched more lives than I care to count. I just lost my patience in the gym, since I had limited time to begin with. My bad if I made it seem like I’m a bad person. I hope to show you the truth eventually.

Bench: Few sets of 155 as his highest
Shrugs: 275 (with straps I presume since he says his traps are ahead of his grip strength)
Squats: 245 - for someone who talks so much shit about squatting, you don’t really squat a lot
Military Press: few sets of 105
Deadlift: 225 - I’ve got high school female rowers weighing less then 130 that are pulling more then this (had a few pull 275 just the last week)
He does tricep kickbacks - lol

I usually don’t make fun of other people’s lifts… but this is good. Where the fuck do you lift that you are stronger than everyone else. I want to go there and look like Godzilla.

Minus the squat, I was pushing more weight around in high school when I weighed 145.

Ok, I’m done.

Solidkhalid, it’s wrong to randomly slap a stranger at the bus stop, but that doesn’t mean the slapper deserves the death penalty. Your immaturity shines through your facade. Either you’re not smart enough to realize that each wrong action is NOT equal, and requires varying levels of responses, or you’re aware of it, but get your panties in a bunch just cuz it annoys YOU personally, and you think your pet peeves take greater precedence over those of other people.

a SRC’er is NOT putting other people in harm’s way, so to put them in harm’s way (removing plates from their bars) is a complete bitch move of you. I can’t stand people that chew loudly all the time, but if somebody does that I’m not gonna slip poison in their food. At this point in the strength game, you need to complain about other people less, and start putting in more hard work yourself. Actions speak louder than words.

question, what would you guys do if you had a screamer at your gym?
fucking kid at mine keeps yelling during his last few reps like if lex steele is trying to rape his asshole whether hes benching 135 or doing curls…

hahaha, saw this in his log, man this guy likes to talk shit

"Got to the gym at a decent time! Trained alone again (as usual unfortunately). I’d say we really need a good strength gym here but then again most of these guys are weak as shit!

Bench Press - hooked up the power rack and blasted the fuck out of this.

155 x 10, 7, 5, 6"

My mp3 player is loud enough to drown out all but the loudest of screamers. Even if I do hear them, it just makes me smile when I lift more than them, but quietly, and get some satisfaction from that. If they’re lifting more than you…maybe you’re lacking in the intensity department? Just a thought man.

So this guy preaches about squat depth, yet can somehow squat “deep” more than he can deadlift?!?

Methinks something is not right with this picture…

Had a kid come up to me at work the other day, I guess because I always have protein bars and shaker bottles around me, and asked about nutrition. He had read somewhere to drink a gallon of milk a day, had given it a shot for about a week and when I asked him what else he was eating he said he was just drinking the milk? I cried inside.

I’m not one to make fun of others lifts either for the most part but sometimes you have to take the low road.

As a side note I’d be pissed as hell if anyone was benching 155 in the rack which it appears he does.

i feel like a bad person watching him because all i think while he is doing this is i hope he breaks/tears something in his legs so that it may teach him a lesson.

If I was there, I would’ve thrown another plate on one side only and been like “here ya go, now that your warm up is done.”
From your pic, and from your info, you seem to be a weakling.
You must pick on 50 year old women.
Weakling. Interesting. Meanwhile I can’t find a training partner due to everyone else being weak as shit. While I’ll be the first to admit I’m not an elite level power lifter, except for a handful of guys above my age group, I’m out lifting and out growing the majority of guys around my age, even after basically starving and eating horribly for an extended period of time (lets not forget the multiple bouts of de-training!). Decent fail, 8/10.
I’ve met your type in boot camp.
Loud mouth, know it all douchebags that have nothing going for them.

I disagree. Everyone has the right to an opinion, however, so I’m not going to get upset if you feel this way. On the other hand, I don’t really mind or care if one of them got injured permanently or not. Different morals/ethics/justice system at play here.

-You are a fucking jackass if you really remove plates to have a bar loaded unevenly, and let the person put themselves in peril.

Jackass to some, hero to others.

-THAT IS THE FUCKING POINT dumbass. Not that you are trying to “rid the gym of idiots.”

It is one thing to come on here, with your chest puffed out like king shit and post words, it is another to purposely put people in a position to hurt themselves.

Absolutely agree. As I’ve said before we have 4 threads of complaints, I simply shared my method of disposing of some of it.

-I would venture to guess anyone that has actually made any progress will agree with me here. You are picking on people weaker and smaller than you, wow cool dude. You intentionally try and hurt people, wow cool dude. You think you are so superior you can fuck up someone else’s (who doesn’t give a fuck about you) workout, sometimes in a dangerous way, because their goals aren’t the same as yours?

Weaker could be argued but smaller is not the case. Many times I’ve noticed larger dudes making the same mockery of working out, and by the same token, have seen larger guys lift less than I. It was a little bit of an eye-opening experience at the time, but I’ve learned since then. But I didn’t discriminate.

To be honest the younger, almost skinny kids at the gym (teenage/high school crowd) really seemed into training and enthusiastic and would ask for help as far as checking form, getting a spot, and exercise selection. I love helping people out (I’m in the industry now) and don’t mind getting questions at all. Intentionally trying to hurt people I’m going to have to disagree.

I know myself and the older guys would always double check the weights we have on our bars for a couple of different reasons, and we all made progress. The ones who didn’t are the ones who were fucking around in the first place. There were some occasions where the uneven bar WAS checked and the person would balance it out. In the same breath, if someone DID get hurt, I’m not going to lose sleep over it.

I didn’t have any superiority issues, and was always willing to play “rookie” to the strong guys. I’ve already named names here but one guy in particular sticks out in my head, he gave me the name in the first place. My issue is if I’m trying to do squats and someone is using the rack and bar for curls, get the fuck out of the gym. I wouldn’t expect you to understand that though. The difference is I HAVE goals, whereas the squat-rack-curlers didn’t.

“Hey, lets go to the gym just so we can say we go to the gym! I’m down for curling 55 for 5 sets, what do you guys think?”

“Fuck yeah! It hasn’t done shit for my guns yet but maybe eventually it will!”

“Woot and we can use this new routine in this Flex magazine article.”

“Yeah, and lets use the foam-back-pad thing on the bar so if we curl and the bar hits out chest, it won’t hurt as much!”

Major bro high-5 session!

How many sets do you have left?

“Oh we just started, I got 4 and hes got 5, and him too, and yo how many you doin? 5? Alright yea hes got 5 too.”

Fuck that. Do your curls elsewhere.

-You are a toolshed, stop justifying stupid actions and picking on people smaller than you.

I’m not sure on the toolshed comment. I’m good with my hands, am into powertools, and do all the maintenance work around my house? I was explaining my actions hoping you would understand, but as a squat-rack-curler I see that my talk falls on deaf ears. And the picking on people smaller than me I’ve already addressed.

And now, to end with the usual internet tough guy bullshit- If I see you doing any squat-rack-curl type bullshit, I’m going to slap you with a plate.

.
Lots of words. Blah, blah, blah… You’re being a cunt.

This is a classic case of “When keeping it real goes wrong”

“nah nah nah fuck that! I don’t like people playin in my squat rack!! Ohhh I keeps it real.”

I just choked on some Bavarian multigrain bread because of this.

LOL this thread got awesome really fast. I’m thinking it may just be a spectacular troll job. He’s even been putting douchey things in his log for a while, just to make his contributions to this thread that much better.

It’s kind of like in The Prestige when Christian Bale loses two fingers during his magic act so he chops his twin’s fingers off so they can keep doing their transported man trick.

Only way gayer.

There’s actually a guy in my gym that manages to scream louder than my MP3, that or he is screaming in my ear while in lifting.

I’m confident and get called cocky plenty so I understand the issue there with that. That being said, you’re not acting confident or cocky, simply being a douche. Personally if you tried to do any of that list of things you posted earlier at my gym, I’d slap the shit out of you. And yes, I was in a fraternity.
As I said before, if trying to get rid of these annoying people that we’re complaining about in (4 threads now!) makes me a douche, then so be it. I just think its funny how we have 4 threads complaining about it and when I talk about my attempts at getting rid of it, I’m called a douche. A little hypocritical? If you LIKE the squat-rack curlers, get the fuck out of the thread.

As far as your, or anybody elses gym goes, if you have retarded squat-rack-curl type shit going on, except it to happen. After all, its not like your doing anything about it. On the other hand if your training in a serious gym w/a serious environment, your safe. I don’t understand whats so hard to understand about that. Maybe I need to slap the shit out of you to help get it in your head? lol
Yes, some of your antics MIGHT encourage people to leave the gym, but only the people who are too timid to seek out advice or anything like that. The people who are doing it out of ignorance rather than ego. You will never get an actual douche out of the gym by doing it, only annoy them and possibly pick a different time to come in.

On the other hand, if you took a plate off a bar for some lifts and people, you could kill or seriously hurt them. If you take a plate off the left side of my bar when I go to do squats or lunges and I fully unrack the bar, then you’ll probably take me out of the gym for a few months due to me not being able to walk.
I got some of the pricks out of the gym but not all. If they came back at a later time (or earlier) I really don’t care, as long as they weren’t there when I was there.

Are you being a douche and doing 1/8 rep squats? Or step-forward-slight-leans? If you are, I fucking hope you get hurt and don’t come back to the gym for a while. Learn proper training form and etiquette and then come back.

If not, what are you worried about? Didn’t you read the whole thread?
Dude, you’re 10 times worse than these “douches” who just seem un-informed. Why not help them, instead of being a passive-aggressive bitch?

Or, do you just not know the difference between right and wrong?
It seems your not getting the whole picture. I’ve tried, until my patience wore thin, to help them, given advice/suggestions, and gotten "yes"d and "okay"d to death. I’m not going to repeat myself.

Right-Gym is a place of progression and training.
Wrong-Gym is a place to hang out, where unfortunately you have to do this annoying thing called “lifting weights” in between long bouts of chatting.

I think I know the difference.
If you think it’s right to sabatage someone’s lift by adding or subtracting weight, then you have a problem besides immaturity.

The funny thing is, if a few people on here disagree with you… fine, that’s normal.
But, the vast majority of people don’t agree with you and your gym justice, so maybe…just maybe… you’re WRONG.

Never had a screamer but the other we had a moaner. That was fucking awkward.

Speaking of moaners… there was a girl at my gym who was working with one of the trainers. She was very good looking and while she was lifting she was making some serious sex noises and moaning like crazy… It was totally awesome but VERY distracting. I had to move away from her lol. Luckiest trainer ever.

I was just about to post this exact same thing… But I am that lucky trainer. She’s young, she squeals and she moans…

When we do focus pads… . it’s awesome.
Even when I stretch her, she still does it.

Life is good.

The other week I was busting my ass doing squats and I couldn’t keep the bar straight. One side sagged a few (noticeable) inches. So I’m standing there, about to put on something like 5 more pounds on and I notice something… It appears as though this side of the bar has a 35 on it. FTR the the side had a 25 on it.

Yay me
