Squat Progress

My training partner is making great progress in with her posterior chain exercises (mostly SLDL’s and Natural GHR’s), but for whatever reason her squat has not been improving all that much. I usually have her doing a 5x5 on monday, and 3x3 on friday, just so she can learn the proper form. What type of things could she be doing to improve her squat?
Thanks

What type of squats?

You are doing two really good hmastring exercises-but what is holding her back-where is she missing the squat? Does she lack static strength in her back? Are her hips weak? How about her abs? Need more info to diagnose her problem.

On mondays I have her doing full oly squats (usually 5x5 then 3x3) and on fridays she does box squats (lighter than monday 5x5). She doesn’t really miss the lift anywhere she has improved her lower back/ ab strength a lot, which used to be a weakness, but now its getting better. Any help?

Ih yeah when she is coming up her knees push out first, then she finishes the lift. Is this a hip weakness? How can you fix it? Band around hips extentions?
Thanks

maybe it’s time to change the rep range, I read here that some of the strength guys do some high rep work.

Is there enough fuel in the tank?

I think your missing what they are looking for. Me for example, I am fine in rock bottom and up past parallel, then, I tend to get stuck. So for me this position is my weak point.

Is she getting baried at the bottom?

It may just be that she is not strong enough to go heavier. How much is she lifting now?

What sets and reps is she using when trainingher posterior chain?

Doing 5 x 5 and 3 x 3, what “style” do you do? Increase weight every set for 1 heavy set or is it 5/3 worksets? Maybe she need higher volume to catch up with the postrior chain?

So by more volume you mean something like 10x3? Or maybe just like 6x7 since women benifit from higher rep ranges and more volume (thank you hint CT)?

That might work aswell but what I ment was that maybe she was doing a higher volume training her posterior chain and therefore got faster results. Then an increase in quad training volume might make them catch up?
