So i have been lifting for a few years now… pretty heavily for a 43 year old. I also do Muay Thia as well… I had a motorcycle crash a few years back and messed up my hips… i have never been able to get deep into my squats without allot of pain… (this comes from years of football) i,m guessing as well. So this week after X-rays i have been told i have Arthritis in my hips… one is pretty bad… they other is just the beginning. i was told to drop high impact stuff like my Muay thai and squats…
So i,m wondering what i could replace Squats with … that will help still build muscle and strength and keep me in the gym safely. has anyone here been in the same postion?
