Sprint Mechanics Problem!

The main thing is that the manner to pursue speed is more related to the sport you play, than a blanket approach of sprinting on a track.

Sports like soccer and football require so many changes in direction, that it could be argued that quickness and acceleration might be more valuable than overall speed. This depends on your position in your sport as well. The fields for both football and soccer and roughly 100 meters long, how often do you see people run this length in a straight line? Not very.

Also, in my experience, SAQ training is pretty worthless. SAQ = Speed, Agility, and Quickness. Rope ladders, parachute running, and other gimmicky shit doesn’t work nearly as well as plain old pracice at full speed or close to it.
