What’s up guys? Need some advice. I work a strange schedule. i go in at 2pm and work until 5 pm. I have a break until 7pm. At this break, I go to the gym and lift weights. I go back to work, and then have another break at 10pm until 11pm. I go back to the gym at this break and do cardio for an hour. Well today I had this thought that I would split my schedule of what I do at the gym. You see, I can only make it four days a week, so I am on the typical chest, tri’s one day…back,bi’s…shoulders, traps…legs. Anyway, I figure I will do the major muscle at my 5pm break, with a half hour cardio and then I will do the smaller muscle at 10pm with another half hour cardio. My reasoning is that today for instance, I worked my back and my bi’s felt a little fatigued. When I went back tonight at 10pm, my bi’s felt fine. I felt like I got a better workout. Any thoughts??
I work Ian King’s SS workout plan on a split basis. I do pull in the morning and push in the afternoon, or vice versa. I find I can work out much more intensely that way and have less overall fatigue…esp. in the summer.
