Yeah, yeah, yeah… Oops you spent money RIGHT>>>> (sarcasm)
The prowler takes forever (trust me). My wife was in a panic as mine was to be a Christmas present (got here on the 23rd, should have been delivered a week earlier).

This morning, I did good mornings, GHRs, OHPs, some bottom ROM DB chest pressing, weighted dips, weighted planks.
Then, I bought way too much crap at the grocery store and pet store. Last night, I was “pretend shopping” on victorias secret and clicked the one-click purchase button thinking it would tell me what I would have to do to set that up.
Looks like I’d previously set that up. I’ve got two dresses, a sweater, and some underwear on the way. Ooops.
I bet it gets here faster than the damn Prowler. I keep meaning to call them…this shouldn’t take this long.
Tonight, I hooked up with my old colleague who will be moving to Michigan at the end of the month. We made cards. I was vaguely crafty.[/quote]
Buying from VS is never a mistake, only a sign of good taste.
How long do you hold your weighted planks for? Because I can never figure out how long is too long before you add weight.
I usually hold 70-90 lbs for 20-30 seconds 4-6 times. These were 90 lbs at 15-20 seconds, I was pretty wiped by this point. I know a 140 lb female who can hold something like 100 lbs over a minute.
I must try these weighted planks…Im up to 2 min now(now weight!)
Weighted planks, I like! And the cards look very pretty.
Can anyone come up with a way to add the weight if you don’t have a lifting partner or vest? Just wondering.
My plates at my gym have big hand holds in em. I set the plates up vertical next to my hip on my right side and tip them over onto my back/booty, and then reach behind with my left hand and pull them into place. Looks terribly awkward, but at least I don’t have to talk to strangers.
Oooo…I want to try those!
And for only being “vaguely crafty” those cards are beautiful.

sounds feasable now I need to give em a try -thanks!
Yesterday I squatted to a Very Heavy 265, belt and wrist wraps. I thought I was stuck in the hole until I wasn’t. I’ll pick my opener next Saturday depending on how I feel and who is reffing - stricter judges = lighter opener.
Today I did one arm DB snatches with a 45, farmer walks with 45 lb plates, plate swings with the 45, and Lots of Stretching.
Love the cards! And kudos on the squat.
Incredible squatting. I love one-arm Db snatches - 45lb is formidable weight on those.
265 squat -Damn. Good work. Haven’t done snatches in a while, another cool move to add to my next program…

Repecting that Squat and loving the 45lb plate raises. If there front raises I bet you get the look I get when doing them like…“show off” ahahhaah. Love keep us updated rooting for your PR’s from afar.
Love that big squat.
Are you gonna start videoing your lifts again?
Wrist wraps for the squat . . . I don’t even like them for the bench. YET.
265 squat. Very, very nice. You are awesome.

I’ve been taking some videos of squats, just for depth, but I haven’t been uploading them.
Snap, I use wrist wraps because my wrists will ache from squatting and benching, they don’t like being bent back when I’m carrying the bar and the wraps help.
can I have your squat when I grow up?
Today I benched to 160, paused, and it was pretty good. I will probably open around 143, or 149. We’ll see how I feel.
