Spin the Black Circle

Oh, and I wore the coach’s shoes for my entire workout tonight. It looks like the right shoe is a wee bit too narrow - after the workout, the obscenely high heels were more comfortable than the shoes. I’ll give them back to him in case he finds someone with munchkin feet.

yay, for having FUN!! Fun is well, FUN! hahaha…
you’ll have to take a video of those Jefferson squats…they sound interesting!

Check out AngryVader’s log - that’s where I got the idea, and he has a video of Kai Greene doing them.

Good Looking workout PMPM! The 135 x 20 on squats is BRUTAL! I have done that a couple times and almost passed out afterward! I can’t believe you did more squat after that! You are my hero!

It’s fun to go in and lift until you can’t walk every once in a while huh? =D

Molly, I had just taken nearly two weeks off. I needed to do something crazy!

Today:
21 minutes sprints on bike, alternating 30 seconds at 120 rpm with 30 seconds at 85 rpm. Three minutes cool down.

Five minutes playing around on the stepmill. Sore booty!

Followed up 20 rep squats by adding 50 lbs to the bar and doing 4 sets of 5 . . . Wow!!

She does rock, doesn’t she. I was thinking she should have her own anthem. Would that be weird?

I hereby officially pronounce the PMPM Anthem Contest. Write your own anthem for PMPM, to be played before all powerlifting meets! Submissions must be made no later than May 1, 2009.

First Prize:
I won’t kick you (good for one month).

Second Prize:
I won’t make fun of you (good for one week).

Third Prize:
I’ll acknowledge your existence (one time only).

Uhhhh, this morning on my Sirius Satellite Radio I heard a cool Pearl Jam song entitled “Spin the Black Circle.” Really fits this thread but I s’pose that wouldn’t really fit the contest requirements, would it??

You have to make your own song.

Spin the Black Circle is my current anthem (although not my favorite PJ song - interesting factoid). I want something creative, from my adoring fans.

Did you finally move your radio off the ‘all ACDC all the time’ station?

Yeah, I did. Sirius had an All Zeppelin channel that had me pretty firmly hooked until I tuned into it New Year’s Morning and there was some Peter, Paul, & Mary or some such song playing. Talk about ENRAGED!! “Hickory, Dickory, Dock” or whatever that song was that jolted my system just doesn’t quite measure up to “When the Levee Breaks.”

Anyway, I’ll try to submit a PMPM anthem shortly.

Hmm. An anthem huh? Do we get to vote?

Who let you out of SAMA?

Prized are structured differently in powerful women than they are in SAMA

Nope, but I’ll give you extra points if you sing it yourself, and post a video on YouTube.

Monday:
Close grip benching, fast: 12x45, 3x6x95
Regular grip benching, fast: 3x6x95
Barbell rows: 3x10x135
Push press, 85 lbs: 7, 5, 3; 3x6x65lbs (cleaned from floor with each set)
Blue band pullups: 6, 6, 6

I ditched biceps because it was International Curling Day (I must’ve missed the announcements), and there were seven people curling at the same time. I couldn’t bring myself to join them.

I wanted to do some clap pushups, but my wrists were achey after the push press (clean grip). They feel fine now.

Hungry gave me a free pass for the day.

I don’t care how the prizes are structured, as long as I get kicked it’s a win/win situation.

You know you’re always welcome to come and frolic with the ladeez. If pmpm doesn’t kick you, I can. I’ll even put the red boots on.
