Haha yeah I went 80/20. I don’t know why but I thought 80/20 only had like 12g of fat or something.

Anyways, like day 5 of prep phase. Starting to kind of feel it. Honestly will probably backload Wednesday/Thursday. Feel that’s enough time at that point.

Alright guys, tomorrow will be day 7 of my prep phase, and I’m calling it there. I’ve started getting that gross metallic taste in my mouth that comes with getting fat adapted, so I feel I did whatever this was supposed to do. Overall other than a little mental fogginess and trouble sleeping, I got through this fine, though calories were still about 3000 kcal. I basically every day just ate:

1 lb of Pork Chop
1 lb of Beef 80/20
6 Whole Eggs
2 Cups Full Fat Cottage Cheese
Can of Green Beans
2-3 servings of Spinach Leaves

Kind of mixed it up how I ate it, and spiced it up with cheese and ranch, cooked everything in VCO and used that in my coffee.

Overall performance in the gym wasn’t horrendous, but it was difficult to be ‘explosive’, reps were just slow. I also lost 13 lbs total over these few days, so obviously that also made a difference. But it was cool to do this because lack of carbs made me really have to push myself on top sets, and kind of showed me I can really turn on a switch when need be.

Did hit some decent numbers which were good for being carb-deprived and so much lighter so quickly
DB Incline: 80’sx8
Front Squat: 225x2x5
Chins: +35x3x6-8

But back to the main question at hand…

Will be backloading tomorrow, at LEAST 500g of carbs, maybe even something closer to 600g. Suggestions? I’d like to keep that fat not retarded high, but obviously I’m not going to be using only white rice for this lol

Popcorn, pretzels, low fat tortillas, kemp’s fat free fro yo, Eggo low fat nutrigrain waffles with Walden Farm’s pancake syrup, pasta, Chipotle steak and white rice bowl but add your own low fat sour cream and fat free cheese. Those are my staples for refeeds at the moment

I backloaded last night. Back up over 200 lbs and leaner than I’ve ever been at this weight. So yay

BUUUUUTTTTT I’m going to take the next 3 days off of lifting completely.

Went into Bench yesterday, and Squat Today. Hit like 185x6 and 275x10. Both times form was fine, it’s just every rep was excruciatingly slow. So either my body is still getting back into the CBL way of life, or I’m just overtraineda bit. I mean I shot bball the other day, tried to go up and dunk, and barely nipped the rim lol. Like I’m just not explosive at all right now, and I assume that’s just a combination of pushing it hard for about 6-7 weeks straight now, lack of sleep, and lack of carbs. So yeah, 3 days off for me.

Also, I’m going to a Comic Con, and mayyyyyy be cosplaying lol. So yeah, that’s a thing. lol

Went to a Comic-Con yesterday. My friends and I had some of the best costumes there I think. haha

Will start my next BBB ramp this Tuesday I believe. Thought about trying the Cube, but honestly BBB has worked well for me so I want to keep with it.

Thinking diet will be something simple. So my one off day I’ll keep carbs low, so 200/210/150 C/P/F

4 days out the week I’ll eat pretty clean, 420/210/120. Then on the weekends, I’ll hit my protein but otherwise eat whatever, push the calories up a bit. Will try to graduate being 215+

So I definitely want to start a Ramp Tuesday. Issue is that I basically have 5 days to train. BBB has a 6-day and 4-day split. The 4-day looks fucking horrible, and I don’t want to commit to the 6-day and not be able to commit. I really think I can squeeze in that extra day, but it’ll be rough.

My other options are just go to a 4 or 5 day routine. I was thinking Cube Boss, Ed Coan, something like that. Thoughts?

What’s wrong with the BBB 4-way? I’m making good progress with it.

WF: Actually that looks a lot like the Ed Coan plan I was going to run, so thanks for that. Only issue I see is I like to hit the big lifts a bit more frequently, I prefer Squatting and Benching at least 2x a week, ya know? At least until I’m stronger

QB: Honestly it’s just the 2 ‘longer’ sessions I’m not a fan of. This is actually the first semester that my schedule has been shitty in regards to time, and the campus gym is just packed often. So I try to keep my sessions at about 45-60 mins tops

I think I’m going to stick with BBB for at least another 6 weeks, just until school is out. I think I’m going to just have 4 days and rotate them. So

Upper I:
Flat BB
Wide Grip Row
Lying Extension
Hammer Curl

Lower I:
Push Press
Front Squat
RDL
Abs + Calves

Upper II:
Incline DB
Weighted Chins
OH Extension
EZ Curl

Lower II:
Back Squat
Leg Curls
Upright Rows
Abs + Calves

Will rotate them through all the rep ranges. Will be simple, big movements, minus the arm stuff because it seems like that keeps my elbows feeling better, as with leg curls and my knees.

So the above pics, I’m anywhere from 204-208 most mornings. Still lean enough to not feel like total shit, so I’ll keep pushing. I’m also eating around 3700-4000 calories most day, so I’m just really trying to milk some strength gains on BBB. This is honestly the biggest I’ve been while not feeling fat.
