Southeast Houston Lifters

Been a little over 6 months since last time…

Looking for training partners in Southeast Houston, Clear Lake area.

I have over 1800lbs of plates, dumbbells to 95, power rack with monolift attachment, texas power bar, fat bar, safety squat bar, competition squat bar, bands, chains, Glute Ham raise, Reverse Hyper and other miscellaneous stuff. Will also have a good set of stones soon as my buddy just bought a mold.

You do not have to be a powerlifter - serious lifters, bodybuilders and strongmen are more than welcome.

Reply or PM if interested.

Dumbbells, log and some stones

Reverse hyper and glute ham raise

You are REALLY close to me.

This may be a good thing.

Wicked cool set up.

Wow! I mean that in a very good way. If I lived close I’d be PMing you for sure.

I replied to your PM. Give it a shot, a good group of lifters that are all serious is incomparable.

Please stop posting these, for my sanity. It drives me insane everytime I see the set up you have and not being able to train there!!

If anyone’s within 90 mins driving they need to hook up with ya.

Also wanted to add, training does not only have to be at my place. If you have somewhere already we can work something out and switch off.

My main concern is finding good training partners.

For a while we had about 4-5 guys training together regularly for heavy squats and bench and the atmosphere and gains made were insane during that time.

I want it back.

haha, thanks man. I went off the premise of, “If you build it, they will come” but it just didn’t seem to work out that way.

:frowning:

Move to Houston, kill 2 birds with one stone. lol

That sucks, man.

Looks like you live in the wrong part of Texas.

Tell me about it…

Any chance that you and your equipment will be moving to far west Houston any time soon?

Or Ireland?

Sorry guys, not going anywhere anytime soon.

Rah-knee, I know a group of guys that are strong as hell out in Katy if you are close to there. If so let me know and I’ll get you one of their e-mail addresses.

Looks even better than the last time I saw pics of it, Matt. Get something posted on Elite if you haven’t already. Shame not to have a crew to take advantage of all those goodies. You may have to hit some local gyms and meets to evangelize some guys to train with.

Thanks Jim, they’re building a 24hr right behind my house and I’ll probably get a membership for a couple months to try and snag some lifters out of it. $30/month to get a couple good partners is more than worth it.

Hoping to order the ST DVD this weekend. The YouTube/MySpace vids are killer, as I’m sure the dvd is.

Thanks, Matt! The reaction to the dvd has been great so far. Appreciate your support.

I shot Ed Coan and Scott Cartwright at USPF Nationals this weekend. I put their best lifts are on my youtube channel last night. I’ll be a Louie’s Pro/Am this weekend so I should have some great stuff from there.
